I was a patient here for a couple of years and spent several thousand dollars out of pocket in addition to what my insurance paid for. The over-the-top phony cheerfulness made me a little uncomfortable, as well as the way that everyone was always trying to sell me additional products and services, but I stayed because it seemed like they did a pretty good job. I stayed until they botched two of my procedures. Not only did they refuse to acknowledge making a mistake but everyone from the dentist to the office staff began treating me coldly as if I had done something wrong. Even worse than messing up my teeth was the fact that they simply didn’t care about what happened to me. They didn’t care about the physical discomfort I was in. They didn’t care about the emotional distress. And they didn’t care about the financial burden it placed on me. I recently had to pay thirteen hundred dollars out of pocket to fix their mistake and I’m facing at least one more procedure and another large bill in the future. The two things you need most from any kind of healthcare provider are competence and compassion. I didn’t get either of those things from this establishment. Less

I don’t usually like going to the dentist but Dr. Steichen is great and so is his staff. I never saw such a bunch of happy people at work. I do like all the technologies he uses to keep my teeth healthy. Halloween is a fun time for them. Less

I've been going to Dr. Steichen for about 1 year now. He and his team have been working to fix my bite. Long story short, a dentist in Alaska made me a bridge that didn't fit, that he modeled off of another bridge that didn't fit either, so my bite was very badly off, and of course, having an uneven bite like that can ruin ALL of your teeth in no time. Dr. Steichen and his team have been working to fix by bite, my bridge, and the ruined teeth, and now it is SO MUCH BETTER. He took me right in without any hesitation, even though the other doctor(s) made the mess. I have learned the hard way that a bite fix takes a HIGHLY SKILLED dentist and team to get it right and these are the guys! They are very patient, precise and meticulous in everything they do, plus they are caring. They also utilize digital computer dentistry, and other techniques that I didn't see other dentists using, and they reexamine your teeth with the latest (safe) computer equipment to find the problem, to verify what you say is the problem, so they will get it right! I would highly recommend them, they are masters at what they do. I have been to a number of dentists for this same problem and there is no comparison, nobody comes even remotely close! His dental hygienists are also excellent and they are the very best as well! ( I currently work in the medical field.) Now I realize that if I had gone to Dr. Steichen in the first place, I would have not only saved bundles of money, but I wouldn't have been so miserable for so long! My goal is to keep all of my teeth. I was born with beautiful teeth, but it also takes a good dentist to keep all of your teeth under such circumstances. Thank God for Dr. Steichen and his team, I don't know what I would have done without them. Dr. Steichen is a totally talented Godsend! :) Dr. Steichen is my forever dentist now. :) Less
