Joan is the best !! She took her time and tweaked my eyebrows a bit and I’m so happy with the way they look now. She really knows her stuff.

I was a model and not sure what to expect. I thought the instructor was very thorough and her instructions to the students great. They suggested how and what color for eyeliner. They explained why they did the eyeliner that certain way and why they chose color. I would definitely refer people here.

I had a great experience having my eyebrows done. The technician made sure I was happy after every step in the process at the same time ensuring the trainee was clear on the why something was being done as well as the how.

It was a good way to get to know my peers and have discussions about PMU and our futures. The teachers were very helpful! I have super sensitive/problem skin & often suffer from ingrown hairs on my eyebrows/face/body & suffer from hormonal cystic acne. I’ve also over-plucked my light blonde eyebrows for almost half of my life (I’m 36) & my eyebrows are extremely scarce. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous because of my various issues/problems. Karen made sure to accommodate me the best she could with my skin issues & she truly made me feel comfortable. When Karen was done & she handed me the mirror for the reveal, I was truly taken back. I did my primary training at Beau Institute years ago, just went back for the Areola/Camouflage course. I could not be happier knowing I got the best training for Permanent Makeup anywhere. My primary training was very intense and a lot to learn, Beau Institute is very thorough in training and teaching, they are there to continue to help even after any courses you take. Rose Marie, Maria and Cindy, I can’t thank you enough for teaching me what I absolutely love to do, my experience both times were 100% satisfying and I am so grateful to you for teaching me everything, having such patience and being so clean. I also have to shout out artist Karen Green for mentoring me on numerous apprenticeship appointments that I've had. Not only was she patient with me, but she gave me lots of good techniques and advice that I can use to continue to improve and use throughout my career as a PMU artist. Not only is she willing to continue to be there in the future if I need advice, but all of the staff is there for support when needed and I really appreciate that. I had a wonderful experience and outcome. My brows came out better than I thought they would. They are clean and very professional. My technician was very precise and made sure they were perfect. Maria did an awesome job.

I was referred to Beau Institute by a cousin who had eyebrow tattooing done many years ago.  From the moment I walked through the door I had a complete sense of acceptance.  The ladies working at the front desk happily greeted me with big smiles before checking my temperature (Covid19 procedure).  This should be a standard for all professional offices; happy, welcoming people from the start.  After some quick paperwork Karen came out to introduce herself.  Almost immediately all of my worries, fears, and anxieties melted away.  She spent a solid amount of time with me to figure out a shape, position, pigment, etc. that would best work for my pale complexion, large forehead and desired end goal.  She explained everything in great detail; how the pigments would look now vs. after they heal, what techniques would work well with my thinner skin, what I am to expect to happen during the process and as I'm healing, etc.  Then she got to work, first with a manual tattooing process called stippling followed by machining.  She would ask me to check the mirror throughout the process so I could see what she was doing and how it was going.  She also made sure I was comfortable and pain free.  With her light-handed technique there was absolutely no discomfort the entire time.  I am currently one day out from the procedure and still have no pain, no redness, no swelling.  I have gorgeous, confidence-inducing eyebrows by one of the most professional and upstanding artists I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  I am so happy with the results already, the only regret I have is not meeting with Karen sooner.  100% would recommend - 100% will be back.  Thank you, Karen, for the life changing brows! These people destroyed my eyebrows. They went so deep into my skin that 3/4 of the hair on my brow fell out and never grew back. As for their reply - they are not medical professionals and I consulted two doctors with degrees who said they can absolutely go too deep and cause scar tissue to form and the hair follicles are damaged and will not produce hairs. Stay away from these idiots they are... More

I have been here twice to do my eyebrows and lip liner. Both times the instructors assisted the student. Very sweet and accommodating.

Staff was highly skilled, accommodating, and friendly. I would highly recommend this training to anyone interested in learning cosmetic permanent makeup techniques and skills.

They deserve a rating of 5. I've been to them before to get permanent makeup done & they are fabulous in their care & understanding. They go well beyond just what ordinary women are looking for. I applaude them for all they do to help those who are cancer survivors. YOU ROCK & have my vote

I had my eyebrows done yesterday and I’m extremely happy!! I had the the machine hair like strokes done and I’m very grateful to the wonderful staff at The Beau Institute. They take their time, don’t rush you etc. Best experience I’ve had and I highly recommend them!!

I have had my eyeliners done and also my eyebrows at beau Institute. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful. Joan O’Donnell is the absolute best. She knows exactly what needs to be done to have the most perfect eyebrow ever. Gina at the front desk was amazing as well as the rest of the staff. I would recommend them to anyone!! Where do I start. Every team member at Beau is absolutely amazing. You are treated like family from your very first visit. I have been a model for over 5 procedures for their classes and the training they provide is top notch. I have to give a huge shout out to Maria. She has been able to transform some of my flaws from cancer into masterpieces. Thanks for making me feel at home
