I was not one for going to the gym to work out. I have found larger gyms to be overwhelming and pushy with memberships. I decided to give Crossfit Rock Solid a try through a friends recommendation. I was skeptic at first as I have never done Crossfit. We started out with the evolve class. I must say it's a perfect fit for beginners with a mix of all ages and abilities. The instructors give you modifications to your level and truly listen to know what your body cannot handle.

I used to do a lot of different trials and drop ins at various gyms or switch after a while just wanting to try new things but since joining crossfit rock solid over a year ago I have not wanted to leave! The classes are great for any level and the people are great. Such a supportive community. By far the best gym in downingtown.

I've been to gyms in PA, NC, CA, Japan, Italy, and Uganda and the management and people at this gym are simply top notch at making you feel welcome, educating you on form and technique if need be and are humble and hungry as hell to grow and get better as a team. Can't say enough about them.

Best gym I’ve been to…..The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They take the time to ensure that each member understands the movements and techniques, making safety a top priority. I appreciate how they provide tailored modifications for different fitness levels, which has helped me progress at my own pace while still feeling challenged.The variety of workouts is another standout feature. Each day brings something new, from weightlifting to high-intensity interval training, which keeps things exciting and diverse. I started coming here around 7 years ago after not working out at all for several years and was in rough shape.I was new to PA after moving from MD and had no friends, was weak/chunky, and totally lost. The community is absolutely elite so I kept coming back and am fitter now at 34 than I was at 24

When I decided to get out of my garage and join a CrossFit box, I toured a few in the Downingtown/Exton/West Chester area. Mike and Rock Solid were an easy choice. The location, culture and coach's attitudes were easy to accept and the decision was an easy one. Great gym, people an positive environment.

This GYM, is more than just a “gym”. I’m a former athlete and have been to so many gyms in the area… probably every one! I’ve never tried CrossFit before and just walked in one day to see what it was about, and then I never left! With CrossFit rocksolid you are getting the perfect combo of personal training, group classes, personal app to track results based on your focus areas. As a mom with busy kid schedules, I love that there are so many classes that I never worry about having to miss a class bc of time. My favorite part is that each class is different every time, but strategically, ensuring the recovery and breakdown of muscle groups. Each class has a warm up, strength portion and the work out of the day which can be anywhere from 10min to 30 min depending on the class. For those looking for a gym, just come try! I didn’t know what I was missing… I wish told me about it!

This gym has been my home away from home for the last 7 years! This is the best place to be a “new be” or an experienced “ gym rat” Mike the owner is friendly, and very welcoming. The required orientation classes(fundamentals) introduce you to techniques needed to perform skills safely. It’s not all about lifting heavy things, scaled workouts are always available if you’re "not quite ready yet" GREAT PLACE!
