As a family, we have been seeing Dr. Parikh for many reasons for when we had trouble walking, feet issues and had laser treatments. Dr. Parikh and her Technician have been warm, professional, patient and thorough whenever we met. She truly has a wealth of knowledge as we leave feeling comfortable and we understand the next steps needed after each visit.

Hello, I'm Jennifer Mendoza and have been a patient of Dr.Parikh for some 10 years now. Seven years ago she performed minimally invasive Bunion surgery on my right foot. To this day no problems and no ugly scar. November 22, 2021 she performed minimally invasive surgery on the Proximal bone of left big toe. The big toe was crossing over the second toe and was causing me a lot of pain.The Proximal bone was cut and repositioned angling away from the second toe. No hardware was put in the toe. Tapeing was used for repositioning. Only had to take pain medication for one day. Surprisingly little pain after 1st day post-op. In a boot for 2 weeks and kept toe taped in position for 4 weeks. Surgery was a great success. I'm now in PT, just went back to work. I'm on my feet at work as I am a massage therapist. No pain at work. I have 4 more PT visits. Foot muscle strengthening and Balance. It will take some time for new bone growth in that big toe. No scaring No anesthesia just local foot numbing. Was on you tube all thru surgery. My husband had surgery to release the tendon of a very significant hammertoe that had developed an ulcer. Because he has diabetes this was decided as a safer route. Ulcer now completely healed and though toe still slightly bent there is a marked improvement . I followed him with removal of bone spurs from the top of my foot. These had been present for many years but were increasing in pain and inflammation. I could not wear most shoes and certainly nothing dressy. It’s very sad when your shoe wardrobe is ONLY athletic shoes. Just prior to surgery even these were hurting me and getting more and more inflamed. I’m happy with the outcome of my treatment. However, I can not get over the lack of hand hygiene. It will prevent me from going back to this office. Gloves do not replace hand washing.

What I noticed about her was that she was patient and willing to listen to all of my concerns. She was friendly, and had several suggestions for treatment -- and didn't push me into anything. Turns out, I was experiencing some residual pain from repeated sprained ankles on my right foot. She also suggested that I try custom orthotics. I grew up in Germany and these were really popular there -- I'd even had a pair when I was younger -- so I was happy to order them knowing how much they help. What I liked about the samples Dr. Parikh showed me is that they are thinner and lighter than what I was used to, and I can leave them in the shoes I wear most. I'm even considering getting a pair for my workout shoes. For the pain I'm experiencing now, I'm going to try laser treatments, which she does in her office. I visited Dr Shermi's office first time for fungus treatment. She consulted with me 3 times laser therapy as a reasonable price with magnificent result. I could wear open toe shoes without any embarrassment,because I always tried hide ugly toe nails for over 10years. I strongly recommend this Dr.anybody who has a same problems.
