Swan Smiles and Orthodontics is my favorite place I have found I love the drs there they are very polite and don't just treat you like a paycheck they are very kind.the staff has always treated me with respect and friendliness I appreciate the way I am taken care of at Swan Smiles.

Such a fun place to go to clean your teeth. Jan, the hygienist, took a moment to get to know me before cleaning my teeth. She was very kind and spent time educating me about my dental health.

I was very pleased with the gentleness and thoroughness of the hygienist and dental assistant during my recent visit. The dentist was kind, professional and considerate.

This is a great dentist office. The whole staff is kind and friendly and they've taken great care of us. When I had an emergency they got me right in and were able to take care of it.

Dr. Swan really appreciates communication. If you're feeling frustrated about getting an appointment or have concerns about your dental health, he tries his best to resolve them as quickly and accurately as he can. The office staff is very helpful and kind.

When the dentist came to check on us I asked if everything was okay and he replied that he was doing some fillings. If that child was screaming that much after being properly numbed and nitroused, it's probably best to do proper sedation. How could you put a child through dental work when they were clearly not coping? That child's cry was traumatic & thank God my kids never needed any work done. A few weeks after this appt I had a dental emergency on a weekend and I called the dentist and left several messages. The dentist never called back, but only communciated via text. He did not seem to believe me that I was in severe pain and told me if he came in he would have to remove my tooth, without asking any clarifying questions or evaluating me. I ended up being able to see another dentist at a different practice who was willing to come in & help me even though I was not their official patient. I ended up having a huge infection & needing a root canal. Once that was taken care of, I was out of pain and the other dentist preserved my tooth. Needless to say, the other dentist earned my business. The dentist here did reach out later and tried to make ammends, but it was too late by that point because my trust was broken. I needed someone to be there during that emergency. I get being on-call sucks, but in my whole life, I've only needed dental help after hours once. The one time I needed help, you were not there and no options given. This experience taught me to ask questions when going to a new dentist and practice. If they don't have a protocol or system set up for after-hours or a dental emergency, I move on. Any dentist can do preventative care, but it's the situations like this that require mutual trust. This is the best orthodontist/dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Matt swan is the kindest man, and he really takes the time to get to know his patients. He is so good with kids too! I will never go to a different dentist!

I had a extremely painful wisdom tooth come in overnight so I called Monday morning right at open and they got me in at 9:30. It was removed within 20 minutes of being there and I already feel so much better.

Went to Dr Swan for my newborn daughters lip tie revision. He was able to get us in just 4 days! His exam was quick and the procedure went well with no complications. Happy with the service of the staff.

I’ve been to a couple dentists who said I had like 8 cavities that urgently needed filling even though I had no tooth pain. Swan Smiles isn’t like that. They’ll tell the truth. They’ll watch small cavities and leave them alone if they don’t worsen by the next appointment. Last year I tried a place closer to where I live in Provo and they literally took photos of my teeth and claimed I had 8 cavities and wanted $750 to fill them. I didn’t fill them. 6 months later I went to Swan and they said ai had one that needed filling and one that needed watching. The watched one is still the same so I haven’t filled it. I saved hundreds of dollars and didn’t get unnecessary holes drilled in my teeth by going to Swan Smiles. The thing the other dentist saw? Stains. He didn’t even use a pick to verify that they were cavities. I don’t trust anywhere but Swan Smiles and will happily make the drive every time because I know they’re honest! Less

I finally dared to ask for masks to be worn/pulled up while working with us and was told, “yeah, some people are really sensitive.” 🤔 We were also the only family in there wearing masks despite the posted policy, and the waiting room was crowded with unmasked families when we had to stop and pay after our appt...just an uncomfortable disappointing visit all around. We like this office, but can no longer recommend it as a great choice for those who want to be careful about CDC/Utah health dept covid guidelines. We’ve cancelled our follow-ups and probably won’t be back until precautions are no longer recommended. 😕 Original(5 Stars): They were so sweet with my 6yo who needed two extractions. I checked before I came about covid precautions, and was pleasantly surprised with the level of carefulness at their office...night and day difference from another I’ve been to. Great experience for our 10yo thus far. He had 4 teeth pulled and braces put on during the same appointment. Dr. Swan is very patient, and kind and makes kids comfortable with what he's doing. My son didn't even feel his teeth being pulled and was shocked to see them out in front of him.

I had been going to another local dentist that made a mess of my teeth. I came to Salem Smiles and the were able to fit me right in and take care of my emergency. Very personable.

Absolutely wonderful with kids! They were reccomended and i reccomend!! Especially the littles like 1 and 2 year olds! My kids are so calm and just love the environment.
