This is an excellent place to get yourself or your children into martial arts. If you are new to martial arts or simply want some exercise that isn’t mind-numbingly boring, this would be a good place to start.I chose Legacy because of their “Family” martial arts class. My daughter wanted to try it, but didn’t want to be by herself. They provide a class where you can train alongside your child. My daughter absolutely loves it and has been asking if we can switch to the 3-days per week schedule; which we may do over the summer. Moreover, Legacy provides a flexible class schedule which should accommodate most families. The instructors at our location are energetic, kind and knowledgable.Not only do they teach Taekwondo, but they also put on numerous special classes and events, have raffle drawings and summer camps. Again, a great place for kids to get into martial arts.Now, Legacy trains specifically for competitions… so if your intent is to learn practical fighting/combat/self-defense skills, this may not be the place for you. However, if you need a stepping-stone to reach that type of end-goal, then this would be a great place to start. Legacy does provide more advanced classes, however I have not seen or met anyone from those courses, so I do not know what they entail.Overall, I am very pleased with Legacy Martial Arts.
