I had managed to suck a silk scarf into my vacuum cleaner! I took it into another shop and asked how much it would cost for them to unscrew the bottom plate to get the scarf out of the roller. (I’d already tried to do it myself with no success.). They said it would be $30 - $35 minimum charge to do anything. I then took it to David’s and the wonderful man there fixed it in a couple of minutes ... More

Good and consistent! I've been bringing my old Oreck vacuums here for years and during that time, the place has changed hands several times. I am pleased to say the current owner is doing a good job and was very pleasant when I brought in a clogged machine. He fixed it while I waited. He had all my service records. Nice!

My wife, Mary, called Scott at David’s and asked about dust bags for our 20-plus year old Miele canister vacuum. He was very helpful, and even offered to drop them off at my house to save me a trip to their midtown store! (He happened to be driving in my direction anyway.). Thirty minutes later, I had the dust bags and a Hepa filter that they recommended for pet owners.
