Awesome staff! Very knowledgable and not going to push you into something you don't need. These are all high end vacuums so they are going to have higher price points than the big box stores. Awesome staff! Very knowledgable and not going to push you into something you don't need. These are all high end vacuums so they are going to have higher price points than the big box stores. In my experience, all the vacuums we tested in the store work better than any big box option. We spent extra money and went with the Sebo D4 after doing hours of research, trying out a variety of vacuums in the store and talking with the staff at David's. It is a HEPA hospital grade filtration vacuum (allergies/asthma anyone?), very powerful and built to last. Everything it picks up goes into a bag, which it should, and minimizes the junk going back into the air in your environment. (allergies/asthma?) I had a Dyson bagless vacuum that worked fine for 10 years but the Sebo D4 does things that vacuum could never do. It is a higher priced item up front but looking out 20 years, the cost per year evens out with lower priced vacuums that need to be replaced sooner (cost of 1 dyson multiplied by 2/3 units over that same 20 years + inflation) and you generally are never going to find the performance of the types of vacuums sold at David's. Go to the store and try them out. Don't try to game the system and buy something cheaper online, David's pricing is competitive and their warranty and the fact that they have a physical store that you can go to for maintenance or to ask questions to knowledgable people is worth its weight in gold. The Sebo came with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty and David's added another 5 years on top of that, bumper to bumper, meaning it covers a lot. They will send you reminders for annual maintenance, often included complimentary. So I have to clean my vacuum, the very thing I use to clean other things? Ironic, but yes, you do if you want to make the investment last and get the best performance out there. If you have pets, you absolutely need to buy a vacuum from this store. My preference is a canister vacuum like Miele or Sebo but the upright vacuum's and the David's brand vacuums work great as well for when we tested them. The canister allows us to get underneath our master bed, couches, etc. The attachments let us get underneath our refrigerator, dryer/washer, cracks/crevices. One attachment lets us literally vacuum our walls, another we can vacuum our dogs, another for our couches/furniture, you get my point. Let me know if your Dyson bagless cordless vacuum can do these things. If it can't, go see the people at David's. They also have a return policy and they aren't going to disappear or hide behind an untrained call center after you buy a vacuum from them (because you can go to the store and talk to them versus buying online for instance). Highly recommend! Go see Ahmed at the Eagan location or the district manager (at multiple locations) and you will be impressed by how much they are willing to invest in helping you make the right decision for your situation. Ahmed at the front desk was amazing! Friendly, helpful, and explains things in a way that is understandable! I really appreciate his kindness and expertise! My vacuum was fixed quickly and only the parts that needed fixing- i would definitely come here again!

Was pleasantly surprised to bring my vacuum in to David's. Ahmed replaced the belt and roller, cleaned it up. Looks and runs like new. And he did it while I waited. I will definitely be back should the need arise. Customer service is Ahmed's strong suit.

Before David's Vacuum, we bought vacuums from Amazon and Menards and all of them 100% of the dozen or so that we bought broke within three months of daily regular use. And they were hard to maintain. The vacuums at David's Vacuum that we have bought are all easy to maintain, for instance the brush rolls come out easy for cleaning. And the vacuums are easy to disassemble and clean out clogs that can happen from time to time. Also, the warranties are fantastic and the vacuums from David's are high quality German built high quality with no downtime yet! We have bought both battery operated light work vacuums for quick cleaning, touch ups as well as work horse vacuums that work everyday reliably. I was not able to fix it myself so I called up the store and the response was “you purchased with us so of course we will take care of you!” I dropped it off with Ahmed and it was repaired within two hours at no cost. When I picked it up, he took the time to show me what happened so I could fix it on my own but also reminded me they are always available to help. They also reach out to their customers on an annual basis for a tune up to keep the vacuum in top condition! I initially walked into David's with pretty low expectations and after my first visit in, I knew this would be our new vendor. Ahmed (the store manager) is wonderful and has really impressed me with his knowledge of the equipment he sells and services, but is also just a very pleasant person to do business with. He is friendly, efficient, and honest about what to expect in terms of ordering parts, the time it will take for service, and is up front about pricing as well. I couldn't get over how much better of an experience I had at David's Eagan than I did at our previous vendor! I brought in one vacuum for service, traded one in for a credit, and am now proudly boasting on our website that we use DAVID vacuums along with our Riccar line. Not only are these machines seemingly identical in their overall look, but they use the same bags which makes my life easier when managing inventory. The machines we purchased (D2000) have been amazing and I can't tell the difference between our DAVID and Riccar machines. This is incredibly important to me as we only use top tier products and equipment in our clients homes/commercial spaces. The D2000 seems to be a little stronger of a machine than the Supralite, even though they have the same motor. Either way, these were purchases I am very pleased with and plan to continue purchasing these machines as we grow as a business. I am not sure what the lower reviews are about but they must be during a transition of ownership/management. I cannot say enough good things about this location and am looking forward to continuing our business partnership! Less

He told us what could be fixed under the warranty and what it would cost to make some other repairs not covered by the warranty (items that wore out due to normal wear and tear). He opened up the section where the motor and roller bar were located and pointed out why the vacuum was giving me some of the problems. Jake was very knowledgeable about our unit and explained what our options were. To make a long story short, we walked out of the store with a brand new David's D2000 vacuum --- fully confident that we had made the best decision and not having the least bit of buyer's remorse.
