Transform Your Life!! I’m not sure if it’s possible for me to write a short review on how impactful Evolution Fitness has been and continues to be on my life especially now that I’m 50 years old. Being part of this gym for 8 years has made me fitter. It’s made me mentally stronger. It’s made me prioritize sleep and eat healthier. Some might look at our workouts and think that’s crazy CrossFit stuff. Maybe, but the classes lead by owner/lead coach Jon Hubbard and his coaches is catered to individual strengths, mobility, and endurance. Each class starts with stretching. Usually a time to talk to other gym members. Then warmups specific for prepping specific body parts for the workout. Weightlifting which is based on your individual prior lifts. Workout itself which varies every day. Finishing up with optional “beach body” work. Yes each workout is challenging but everyone in the class does it together. Coaches watch to make sure you are executing movements correctly so you don’t get hurt. No one walks away until everyone finishes and high fives and fist bumps are completed. They truly care about what they do and enjoy helping others achieve greatness. They'll also smile at you as you're struggling to complete your last rep and yelling every curse word in the book. I have been a gym member since 2013 and love working out at this place. As an ironman triathlete, marathoner and bike racer I have built power, speed and stamina under the guidance of Jon Hubbard, owner and coach. We have a great community at Evolution and athletes of every ability can benifit from the training. It is a great combination of strength training (olympic lifting), metabolic training, and mobility work. The only 'machines' we have are rowers and air dyne bikes-this is great functional fitness appropriate for anyone wanting to get fit, get stronger, or looking to make transformational changes. Less

After having a one on one meeting with John and hearing how this personalized, hands on training was different I decided to give it a shot after 12 years of not stepping into a gym. It has been 3 months now and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. John does a great job of tracking your performance so you can see the difference with real results. It is also nice to hear other people noticing a change in a short amount of time. The other members of the gym are very helpful and provide a great team atmosphere which make the workouts much more enjoyable. The latter was always an after thought even though every coach will tell you how important it is. I started with Jon at Evolution 5 months ago. I have been in the gym on average three times per week since November. The workouts are structured and varied. Jon is meticulous about proper form and execution of various exercises which gives me confidence that I can avoid injury. This personalized training adds tremendously to the value of my membership.
