My 1982 CJ5 arrived at Axleboy on a trailer. It ran, but only barely. It rode like a coal car and handled about even worse. It was absolutely no fun to drive it, so I didn't. A little more than nine months later, it has a new life and all systems are go. There isn't much of the old Jeep left and that's a good thing. The guys who worked on it did a fantastic job. It couldn't have been more skilled and attentive. From the front of the shop, Tommy did an outstanding job of quarterbacking all aspects of the restoration and was great at keeping me current on what had been accomplished and what still needed to be done.
