The human body is no different. God has made the body of mankind with the same principles. Get a medical anatomy book and look at the skeleton. The head sits on the first and most important "foundation", the atlas. If it is off a simple couple of degrees, it has a domino affect on the rest, especially the nerves. Everyone knows when nerve pathways are shut off that there is pain and no healing until they are reopened. I had constant pain, swelling, not being able to sit straight, tip my head back nor turn it side to side, and my right arm/shoulder painful to use, results of a terrible car accident in 1977. Some friends highly recommended NUCCA chiropractic to me and showed me a video. I KNEW it was the truth because of my remodeling and building knowledge, it all made SENSE, and no "jerking" like previous chiropractors I'd seen and given up on. Dr. David Chalke, who is with Precision Spine Specialists now, took x-rays; we both could see the terrible degree that my atlas was off. My C-6 was making a natural fusion downward toward C-7 in the front to compensate. My first adjustment to put it back was amazing! I started coughing uncontrollably, my nose ran like a river, and a headache slammed me in my forehead for five minutes, then all stopped. I even heard the "clicking" of my whole spine as the atlas aligned and the rest of the vertebrae were aligning like dominoes. It took 3 months of visits for the alignment to fully heal and set, and the fusion has stopped. Today, I am well, no pain or problems. My husband had recently been hurt terribly with a head/neck injury, was skeptical until he went and saw his x-rays. His atlas was out 2.17 degrees! He was crooked with one leg shorter, one shoulder lower, one hip off, could not turn his head from side to side, and had stiffness, pain & swelling! Dr. Chalke aligned him and my husband is fine. Praise God! If anyone reading this has ever had a car accident or a terrible fall, having problems, we highly recommend Precision Spine Specialists.
