I have been at SideYard for a little over 5 months and I love it. I have never done CrossFit before so I was a little worried I would fail, but the structure and coaches are amazing. This place is awesome! I have been coming since the beginning of the year and from the first day everyone was amazing! The coaching is great and just like anything you get what you put in. If you are willing to listen and work on the things they tell you (ego check!) then you will progress and probably more importantly stay safe. The programming is amazing - show up regularly, do the workout Sharene has programmed for the day, and you will see results. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They are great at pushing your limits while also making sure your form is on point to avoid any injuries. Hard work that brings results, happens at SideYard, and so does fun. I’ve made some great friends there and look forward to seeing them each morning as we encourage and push each other to do our best. My kids leave the kids and teen classes with smiles on their faces and usually have news to share about a new skill they learned or a challenging workout they tackled. They are learning physical, emotional, and mental skills at the gym that transfer over to real life. I highly recommend SideYard! It is a great fit for all ages and fitness abilities. Less

After a few weeks you will be able to do daily things with ease, like lift the big bag of dog food and move a trampoline to mow (I know crazy right!?! Sharene was very welcoming and informative and I loved it! I’m not going to lie...it’s the hardest thing I’ve done and sometimes I dread getting up and going but once I’m there I love it! I love how I don’t have to think about what areas I have to work on or how does this machine work, etc. Sharene does my thinking for me AND she modifies the workouts for my bum knee and elbow. I love seeing my body get stronger. I also love the camaraderie amongst the ladies in our class. It’s just fun getting fit! Sharene has been my instructor for two years now and I’d recommend SideYard Training to my best friends and I have! They are now coming with me! Less
