I met twice with Jay Werner of Trusted Benefits Group, LLC via Zoom. Prior to our first meeting, I gave his assistant, Grace Espelita, some specific information in order for Jay to do an analysis of what Medicare supplement plans would be best suited to my needs. At our first meeting, Jay was absolutely great at walking me through the various parts of Medicare and how they work, making sure I understood as we progressed. He was very patient, used great visuals and was very thorough. At our second meeting, Jay again had everything clearly laid out. Initially, he spoke with my husband regarding some financial details to assist moving forward. They had a productive discussion then we got down to applying for the best-suited plans for me. Along the way, Jay explained medication formularies and the Medigap (donut hole ). One of my meds is not on any formularies so he explained and showed me how to obtain my medication at a lower price. Jay also found a good Rx drug plan for me (Part D) and made a good recommendation regarding a dental plan. His assistant, Grace, was always available to answer my questions and sent necessary forms to me pronto. She also responded to any inquiry in a very timely manner. My experience with Jay and Grace of Trusted Benefits Group, LLC was excellent. Understanding and the process of signing up for Medicare and supplemental plans is a bit daunting but Jay took me through it step-by-step. I now feel I have a solid understanding of Medicare, supplemental plans and I feel confident (and relieved!) knowing I’ll have the kind of coverage I want should I need it.
