Awesome gym. First time being a member of a CrossFit gym. It's as fun and challenging as you want it to be. The coaches are top notch and can accommodate people of any skill level. The classes are well structured with a proper warm up, workout and stretching/mobility work at the end. The membership also includes 24 hour access which I've never used because the classes are all I need.

I travel for work, and I started coming to CrossFit Vanquish at the recommendation of a friend after recently starting to do CrossFit at home in Arizona. I spend a large portion of the year in Wisconsin, so it made sense to join this gym, and Steve was super awesome with being flexible with my schedule allowing me to join and give notice when I will not be in town for a few months. I started with a kickstarter program after the initial free trial week, since I am new to crossfit (not to working out or training), but there are differences in moves and lingo, that the program was helpful to learn. Especially because I do not want to get injured, so proper form is important. Each coach is very good with beginners. They have asked about injuries, limitations, experience. They watch new people for technique to make sure you don't hurt yourself. The people in the class are always super helpful and encouraging as well. Everyone is so friendly. It's a very nice community. I'm looking forward to coming back in the spring! Less

I love going to Cross fit. I am a woman over 65 and I scaled my workout to my physical level. Everyone is so supported of me and encourage me to keep working hard. I love the coaches because they know what I am capable of doing and push me to go to the next level. This is my second family. Everyone cares and respect one another. Tldr: After 2"covid years" sitting around -I was an off the couch guy, not thinking CrossFit made any sense, assuming it is all "those people," and embarrassed with what I could (or more accurately could not) do. The reason I joined a small group-oriented class was simply the concept that I would not show up otherwise. (this still took a while to mentally buy in, and I appreciate Steve's honest, yet encouraging emails). That said, CFV has been great, and is not full of "those people" you can't stand at a regular gym. There is a high focus on having newbies being welcomed by the coaches and members. It can be intimidating to walk in any new gym. I think there is a good mind set to ease those nerves ... And then destroy muscles and tendons 45mins later. (in a good way) I've done things like Orange Theory, HIIT classes, etc in the past. While they also work to get results, I have to admit that this environment has been much more enjoyable. The coaches focus on the "Why" within the movements and workouts; what they build towards, support, and the many scaling options available so that all levels can complete a workout.. They have helped me scale around previous/chronic injuries, build stability, strength, and aerobic capacity. It has been 5months of earnest effort (3 times a week is the goal) and some major results are already showing up. No doubt I have a long way to go to get where I'd like to be. If you'll forgive the overused term, that's why they call it a "journey". I'm looking forward to continuing that journey with CFV. Drop in, check it out. Bring chalk. There is a true sense of community and I feel that I made significant progress during my time there. John is an excellent coach that takes the time to work through the movements to get your form down. Each of the coaches is encouraging and has their own style. They are great to work with and are willing to answer any questions you have. I often ask for help with scaling the workout so it is effective for me. There are some strong folks at Vanquish that can throw up some big weights but whether you are squatting 350lbs or just doing air squats the group all works together without any judgement. There is some healthy competition going on but you won’t be put down by anyone. You might get a guilt trip from someone who’s trying to push you to be better but it comes from learning we are capable of so much more than we think and motivating others to reach new PRs. Great way to get and stay in shape! Workouts are always different so you don't get bored with it. Instructors are like your own personal trainers. They always make sure you do the exercises correctly. Very professional!

Where many gyms have come and gone in the past few years, these guys remain. There is obviously a reason for that.

Just finished the On Ramp program and thought it was great. Huge focus on fundamentals, technique and metabolic conditioning. John is a great coach, very patient, thorough and fun. Other members are friendly and welcoming. I definitely plan to continue on after the On Ramp.

This CrossFit gym has an Amazing staff, amazing athletes, amazing atmosphere, and a great facility. If you are looking for a new gym or thinking about CrossFit, this is a great place.
