Me and my wife went here for a drop-in! Great place, very neat. Nice equipment and far more important: great people. Both the owners joined in for the WoD, which was awesome. We got some Nice feedback in Some movements by the coach. Would deffinitly recommend this place! Great place

I always feel intimidated starting at new gyms. Constant Conditioning CrossFit was the best experience, everyone was incredibly welcoming, patient and the workouts are thoughtfully modified to meet your capabilities. I am so happy I decided to give it a go.

When I first came to Constant Conditioning (CrossFit), I really didn’t know what to expect. I had heard of CrossFit for several years, but I felt intimidated to try it. I was a desk professional and for 10 years, I had effectively sat, worked, and eaten. I was at least 45 lbs overweight, and the weight was NOT in muscle, I assure you! My blood pressure was pretty high; I was experiencing bouts of vertigo/vestibular migraines; and I was pretty much a classic case of burnout. I knew I had to do something, and even though I hadn’t worked out on any level for years, I decided to book an introductory body scan, and go from there. I first met with my Nutritional Coach who was so knowledgeable and kind, and after having my body scan, and talking with her for a short while, I decided to sign up for the Nutrition Programming, and as a new member of the gym proper. I felt that as it had been so long since I’d really taken any notice of what I was eating, it would be supportive and encouraging for me to meet with a nutrition professional regularly, and have regular body scans to see how I was progressing. It was just what I needed! Watching the composition of my body change with each body scan was incredible! My nutrition coach always had suggestions for recipes, and different tips to bring more nutrition to my eating plan. I started to feel more energy, and definitely felt better mentally too. Now, I’m not a “young” woman anymore (58yo), and I was terrified that gaining strength, and losing excess bodyweight was going to be a really, really long process. Well, it REALLY wasn’t! With the accountability that comes with meeting regularly with my nutrition coach, I stayed on track with my nutrition, and felt renewed energy. That combined with challenging myself in the gym classes was the magic! Almost two years later, I’m stronger now than I have been in years! My endurance has increased significantly, and there generally isn’t a week that goes by where I don’t surprise myself somehow by realizing I’m able to do something now that I never dreamed I’d be able to do again. When I joined Constant Conditioning in early August 2021, I couldn’t even sit into a squat without my knee barking back at me. I couldn’t put my arms straight up over my head beside my ears – it hurt like blazes, and was real work to try and keep them there. Now? No problem. And the members are just so supportive and encouraging, it's hard for me to believe sometimes! I know I probably could’ve achieved some of my improvements on my own, maybe even all of them over time, but to have these experienced professionals guide me through this journey has been priceless! I will forever be grateful that not only does Constant Conditioning simply exist in the Comox Valley, but that it’s owned/run by coaches that know what they’re doing, and truly care about where you are individually on your fitness journey. All the exercises are modified to your level of ability so that you can and WILL get a workout! I am probably most impressed by the coaches here because they are dedicated to health and fitness – not advancing folks prematurely, simply so members don’t get frustrated and stop coming. If your form or technique needs further improvement, they’re not going to tell you to increase the weights for the exercise until in their assessment your form/technique will support that increase. Their ever expanding knowledge, dedication to their clients and welcoming environment are a recipe for success. I highly recommend this gym. Eric and Melissa are very knowledgeable and encouraging while making sure you are going at your own level but with a challenge! I started at Constant Conditioning last November and it’s my first time doing crossfit. The owners, Erick and Mélissa, make it an easy transition into doing motions I’ve never done before because their coaching is excellent. It’s an extremely welcoming environment and fun for all. Melissa & Erick are incredible coaches and have made a great space for learning and building strength. But also making it such a fun experience too! I would highly recommend this gym for any beginner because they don’t push you to extremes, but allow you to build your strength at a pace that works for you. They are positive and approachable, and the groups of people at the gym are just the same.

I was hesitant. Crossfit? Bouncing around, using every part of the body, getting timed, pushing limits. Now, I am sold- they made me a believer! I feel better in mind and body. Key is good instruction, good people, good equipment, and fun. And they have all that- give it a try. Great environment to push yourself and reach your own goals surrounded by others doing the same.

I have been a member of this gym for over 2 years, and am so happy I joined. When I first joined I knew nothing about CrossFit, but the smaller classes and awesome coaches make for a really supportive atmosphere. As a mom of 2 young children, this is a place I come for some “me time”, and always feel welcomed, encouraged, and of course stronger! 💪

Reaching 59 this month and having the misfortune of several broken bones and surgeries I wasn’t sure CrossFit was a fit for me. I joined CrossFit Constant conditioning gym three weeks ago. When I first did my orientation with Erick and Melissa in Dec 2019 I was intimidated by doing the work outs with a 15lb barbell. I can not express enough gratitude for their patience and open arms on the days I was able to attend even if my rest & recovery period was a week. It makes it not only fun but we also push ourselves to be our best no matter what level of fitness your at. I’m turning 40 soon and I’m the fittest I’ve ever been!
Yes 100% would recommend this gym. They are two amazing crossfit coaches, nice new gym, equipment, flexible hours, and gym even has a bathroom😁. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun coaches to be trained by. Come drop in say "hi" and check them out.
I’ve always been intimidated by the word “CrossFit” until I entered this gym. Melissa and Erick are extremely knowledgeable and supportive! I’ve learned so many new skills and have been able to improve on others. The gym and equipment is brand new. I would highly recommend this gym and the coaches to anyone that has been scared to try CrossFit before. Everyone is so welcoming and it’s FUN!!

I started with CF Constant Conditioning shortly after they opened in 2018. It is by far the best gym I have ever been part of. It is a great facility and excellent coaches that really care and want you to succeed. About 4 years ago I joined CrossFit constant conditioning and nutrition. I was looking for something different.Didn’t know anything about CrossFit training. The coaches are super friendly and welcoming , I have learned new movements all the time. They are motivating and supportive. And the gym is super clean and organized for every class. I truly love being a member of this CrossFit gym.

A great place to get your sweat on. Coaches Melissa and Eric are super friendly and helpful. Everyone else that go's to the gym is really encouraging. If you are looking at making your first steps into working out or a crossfit superstar you will feel at home here!

An encouraging atmosphere with very friendly and knowledgeable trainers. Workouts can be customized to a wide range of fitness levels and are extremely rewarding!
