Just used 1800 Move It for a massive home move. What a great bunch of guys. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon and his team Dylan, Alex, Connor and Matt. Great job on the move in 42c heat, excellent work ethic from the team (Drew, Tyler and Connor). They worked really hard without stopping so $ / time was reasonable. Would have given 5 stars but got a few chips on the piano so probably should have gotten a piano removalist for that bit in hindsight.

My TV frame/bezel was warped and had lights showing through on the screen while watching, so I had to buy a new one. My study desk is damaged as they used (my) heavy duty packing tape to shut the drawers and it ripped off the surface underneath. Previous removal companies have always used masking tape. If I’d known they were doing that, I would’ve asked them to use masking tape (also mine - as they didn’t bring supplies). To top it off, they left a deep scratch in the wall, dirty hand prints on all my white furniture, chipped and scratched just about every item (eg my couch legs). I sent Christian an email and a text message but received no reply. Very disappointing. I only went with this company through a family recommendation. Less

I booked well in advance for an 8:00am move only to be told 2 days out that it was being moved to 11:30am. Moving day is a big day as you would know, so this change threw my plans right out making the day a lot more stressful. The caretaker at the building I was moving in to was also quite put out by the last minute change. The crew doing the move on the day were good guys.

Really dissapointed in how the move was handled on such a stressful day. There was severe damage left to the premises, at my own costs. My partner had to step in and move the couches because one of the removalists couldn't lift and do the job properly. The boxes were damaged, no apologies and no care whatsoever. I would not recommend this company.

No call. I would dearly love to give a great review to a local business. Unfortunately, in this instance I cannot. Moving house is stressful. Lack of communication in this instance is not OK. Thankfully, the remaining removalist (Saurabh) was very helpful and offered to do the move for half the cost if another person could help. After approaching several removal companies on a Sunday morning 1800 Move It were the only company to reply on the same day. Polite and professional throughout. Very accommodating and I would definitely recommend to others.

We found 1800 Move It professional and easy when booking and they accommodated last minute changes with no penalty. The call out fee seemed to be lower than other companies. Unfortunately the two removalists on the day seemed inexperienced and were inefficient with their technique and time. This just meant we had to supervise at all times and it took longer than our previous moves.

1800 were able to accommodate me with less than 24 hours notice after another company did not turn up. Jimmy and Fin were professional and got the job done quickly. I couldn't recommend 1800 Move It highly enough.

The boys did a great job! 2 men and a truck. The only thing I would change is to have been offered a quote from my address. Was hoping to do it in one trip, but it took 2! Needed a bigger truck and 4 men. In saying that, the boys did the work of 4 men and they should be congratulated for the way the packed the truck, and not one thing broken, they were fabulous!

There is no point booking in a time slot for a certain day because they will just turn up when ever they feel like it changed the time 3 times then sent 3 people to try make up for lost time. Hard to get in contact with basically a useless company.

Pick up couch B from same house and deliver it to a thrid. However, timetabling three houses and a moving compnay was never going to be an easy job. Finally we manage to get a time were the stars aligned. What is it they say about the best laid plans. Christian became very difficult to contact. I didn't get my paperwork until the day of the move. Truely, I didn't think the truck would arrive. I understand COVID is making everyone's life difficult, but communication with customers, especially with a complex move is the Key. A simple text would have calmed my growing anxiety. The job had to commence after 12.30. I was called at 9.30. The guys went and did another 2 hour job and called again at 11.30. They met me at the first property at 12.30, so far so good. The frist couch transfer went without a hitch. You can see the item gracing my living room. I did think they were a little rough taking the old couch to it's new home but it didn't seem to cause an issue and the couch was heavy. When it got to it's new home, a cord had been damaged. The poeple accepting the final transfer have decilined to pay, until it's fixed. Payment is an issue on several fronts. I was quoted an hourly rate, nothing more. The guys did have to use a set of stairs, so if I'm up for that, my bad as the couch didn't fit in the lift. I don't beleive in not paying my bills. However I understand the final recipent withholding payment, especially as we were asked for an extra call out fee which was never discussed. But then again, I never got the paperwork until very late. I've requested a copy of the account and will pay my share (couch A). All in all, I wouldn't recomend this company. The guys were young and fit but not overly careful with heavy objects, the communication has been sporadic and there has been damage. A very stressful move that should have gone like clockwork with all the time and effort I put into planing it. By the way, this was not the cheepest company, but according to google reviews, one of the best. I'd hate to see the worst. Less

The owner emailed to say that the job could be done on a particular day, but when I sent subsequent emails asking about how and when to pay, what time the removalists would be coming, etc., I received no replies. So I used a different company with good customer service.

Professional, courteous and delivered what was promised. Staff gave feedback on the day that the boss treats the workers like family (which was better than where (he) used to work. This was refreshing to hear. Good stuff.

Ben and Robbie provided great service and did it in a nice, calm manner under difficult circumstances. The move in would have killed me and these two took on all the hard work, making it much, much easier than it would have been.

The team are friendly & hardworker, but the owner is very arrogant. (Owner nice & friendly first time, then become aggresive and rude when we complain that they damaged some our belongings). When contacted regarding damage and compensation text/email ignored.
