We had an amazing experience for both of our girls (4 & 2yrs old). They were so relaxed and loved the car chairs, but what really impressed me was the kindness, patience and genuine care from the hairdresser of how I wanted the girls hair done and the hair cuts turned out beautiful. Will definitely be back again💃🏼

Main stylist just does what she wants and not even give a try to follow the models showed as examples on pictures. I think this will be my last time visiting this place as is the third time this is happening. Maybe from 5 years old on would be better as it seems she just lost patience on toddlers 🙃 And yes, it’s pricey for a place that doesn’t listen the clients.

Horrible experience. We made application before going. My girl cried right after the cut. The lady did only 5 mins hair cut for my 10 years old girl very rough cut (which normally takes at least 20 mins at other kid cut places) and it feel like she just wanted to get it done then take next. Good haircut but horrible with children. I expected a toy balloon or lollipop to distract him during the cut. Nothing. I had to ask if they had suckers while he was mid meltdown and she rushed and wouldn't even wait for me to open the sucker she found in the back of some drawer. Very nice place to get your childs haircut. They are very patient, fast and friendly while your child may scream and cry. They give a balloon at the end which is a nice bonus.

It did not list an expiry date or that it was specific to a certain location. The lady kept showing me the new cards and how they do state it’s specific to one location. I explained that they should still honor mine because it doesn’t have an expiry date and doesn’t say that. She offered me 50% off the cut but I explained I wouldn’t have driven from Langley to Coquitlam for a $20 haircut when I could have just gone to Supercuts in Langley for the same price so I asked to speak to the manager. She calls the owner and his exact words were “it is what it is.” When I told him I would pay the reduced price and leave a review he had said then he wouldn’t even give me the 50% discount. Terrible terrible service and I can safely say I will be sticking with Supercuts in Langley that are half the price and have great customer service. Less

When i asked her to stop, she didn't and said your husband saying its not even and kept hurting my son. My son kept saying that its hurting but she wont stop and i also noticed that she was really rough with the trimmer on my son's head. My poor son, even got some swelling on his head. I couldn't take pictures of it as he wont let us see the cuts properly and kept crying. He kept saying that it hurts even after a few hours. We had to pit polysporin on it to help my son. I want ask her, how would she feel if someone bang her head like that? Learn to treat people the way you want to be treated aspecially kids. Dont do this job if you dont know how to do it and learn some basic manners. I made a mistake to bring my child to this pathetic place. Will never do this mistake again. My two kids like Mojgan having hair cut so much! She has a 30-year experience in hair styling, especially for kids about ten years! She is nice and friendly. I definitely come and make appointments with her again!

If you're looking for a quick, overpriced, careless and sloppy haircut, you came to the right place. I don't even want to give one star, but I have to leave a review so no one else experiences the same thing as we did. I can't believe this place calls itself specialized for kid's haircut, because they do not know how to deal with kids AND can't cut hair properly. - The "kid friendly" chairs at this place do not have any harness - there's just gaping hole - not suitable for babies or young toddlers. My husband and I had to hold our son praying that he wouldn't slip through the hole and fall. Total safety hazard. How does this even pass any kind of safety inspection? - Be ready to be completely covered in hair after the haircut. They have this piece of cloth as a "gown", and she only covered one side of his body when she started cutting his hair. After 5 minutes he had hair ALL OVER his face and clothing. The staff gave me a piece of towel (to brush hair off???) and walked away while my husband and I cleaned the hair off of us and our son. - Haircut is just terrible...uneven and patchy. The stylist greeted us with a pair of scissors in her hand and the entire thing was over in 10 minutes. Honestly, it's so worth it if your toddler has not had a haircut before or dislikes them. The hair stylists are LIGHTNING fast and super patient and understanding. Our hair session maybe took 2 minutes and it was fantastic!! If I had tried this at home it probably would have taken an hour and I would have given up and it would have looked nowhere near as neat and tidy.

I am just amazed by the great service offered by Esther. She is just perfect for kids. My toddlers first haircut at a professional salon and it was just a great experience.

Nice place to get your apprehensive toddler’s haircut - nice staff and a great set up. Both times we have gone the cuts itself have been less than stellar… but our son was happy. So we are happy.

My 4 yr old has been coming here since his first haircut. He loves the car and plane seats, the staff is quick and friendly, and the cut is always cute! 5 stars!

We have taken our special needs son here since his first haircut. Staff is very sweet and patient with him. He has gone from being terrified, to calm and relaxed as his hair is cut.(still fidgets, but is happy) highly recomend

The staff here are so friendly and good with the kids. They do really good hair cuts but most importantly they are also fast, and the clippers they use are very quiet so they don’t scare the kids. Highly recommend!

The hairdressers are always friendly, gentle and efficient. I doubt we would be able to convince my toddler to get hair cuts without this salon. The prices are a bit steep but you can't find many child friendly spaces like this.

Went here couple times but today experience was the worst. Not only they double booked me so I had to wait for a while but they rushed haircut my son and his hair is so uneven.

I was a minute late so they took someone else in even though I called them 2 minutes early and said I was having a hard time finding them in the mall. My son is super wiggly so they were very accommodating but the hair cut is not great..but it was his 1st cut so they made a little card with his 1st curl laminated for safe keeping so that was sweet.

My sensory sensitive son has had 2 very traumatic haircuts elsewhere. His experience here was phenomenal! The lady was lightning quick but amazing and detail oriented. I couldn't be happier with this haircut experience. We will only go here from now on.

I only bring my son here for his haircuts. When he was a toddler he would scream and cry (a lot!), but the stylist was unbothered, professional, and encouraging the whole time, and she was lightning quick! So even though my son can go to a cheaper stylist now, I still go to Sparky’s because they are excellent with children and I’m always very pleased with the end result. I highly recommend.
