One of the best decisions I’ve made was to join this gym. I am in the best shape of my life and doing things I’ve never dreamt of being able to do. Never had the opportunity to join this Box. I sent email and made phone calls to ask questions in regard to membership and NEVER had a response to any attempt to contact. If they cant even reply to a potential customer then how can they properly train anyone.

Amazing gym with amazing people. No matter what your fitness level is, the staff will work with you to get you where you need to be. Great instruction and great motivation without making you feel inferior. They also have a guy there that makes pretty cool videos ;)

With Average Joe's it's all in the name. AJ's is not for the cross-fit elite, but a place where average Joes can be serious about working-out. Pretty basic setup standard equipment with bikes, rowing machines, and barbells. This place also offers yoga and child's classes.

So I decided to give CrossFit a whirl and see what the recent hype was all about. Let me say that I see now why people get addicted to CrossFit. After researching some, the general consensus seemed to be that the “box” (gym) makes or breaks your experience and that the coaches and staff at the box are a huge deciding factor in an individual’s frequency and willingness to jump on the CrossFit train. My first experience with CrossFit took me to Average Joe’s CrossFit in Navarre, FL. It is a family owned and ran establishment and that business philosophy is contagious to their clients. Pete, Sean, Justine, Kate and Erin make you feel part of the team and are spectacular coaches. You can tell from the minute you walk in that this group loves what they do and want to ensure that you have a great experience and a great workout. Being new to CrossFit I spent a week in a fundamentals type class where I learned the basic maneuvers and terminology for CrossFit. And oddly enough, after a week I am hooked!! My only regret is that Average Joes is closed on Sunday (Imagine that!!) and I will have to wait until Monday morning for my next WOD!! If you are considering CrossFit or looking for a box to call home, you will not regret your decision to check out Average Joe's CrossFit in Navarre!! Less
