One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. I never received an email or text confirmation for my 10:00 AM Appointment for 8-26-24. I had to call 2-3 times to confirm it with Joe. He gave me a shop address to go to, which was 7224 E McDowell Rd in Scottsdale, AZ because I wanted to have the detail done at a shop instead of my driveway. It gets up to 110 plus here in the summer and my thinking was they would do a better job at their shop because they would be in the shade. The address belongs to Autowits and there are several businesses there. I arrived at 9:50 AM and every person I talked to in that complex had no idea who he was. There is no auto detailing business there called Uptown Mobile Car Detailing. I waited about a half hour and called him about 10 times. He was a no show and never answered the phone. I will be contacting BBB and the State of AZ to try and get his business license revoked. I drove 67 miles round trip for nothing. If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. What a scam of a business. DO NOT GET ANY WORKD DONE BY THEM. By the way, their current address is 5213 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012, which is a REAL ESTATE OFFICE. Well, the owner responded with an apology and never explained what happened. In fact, the owner did not even try to reschedule with me. I am dumbfounded right now. 8-27-24 Update: Correction to above. The owner did not call me. It was an employee. It seems the employee had to take his dog to the vet as an emergency due to an injury. The employee was supposed to be in the office but couldn't obviously. Someone was supposed to cover for him and that did not happen. I was told Alex; the owner was going to call me yesterday at 5:00 PM. I am still waiting for the call. I decided to give them a second chance and have an appointment scheduled for 9-1-24. We'll see what happens this time. I did contact BBB, and I was not able to find this business on their website. However, I was given contact information by them to file a complaint with two other agencies if I wanted to, but I am going to hold off. Again, I drove 67 miles round trip, called about 10 times, received an apology, but never offered to have the service done by them. I had to ask for it and I will probably be charged the full amount, even after what I have gone through. Not looking forward to making another 67-mile round trip. I will keep updating my experience until the service is done or gets cancelled. Still not very happy. If this was a corporation, management would not be very happy with what happened.
