So the decision was an easy one. But then once I got to know Jax, I felt even better about the decision. The work he and his crew did was excellent, and I’m pretty picky. The finish on the doors was outstanding, and Jax even pointed out that the handles I had ordered wouldn’t quite work, and he did so before he had drilled any holes, so finding a replacement was easy. It’s clear that he knows his stuff and also knows the sequence in which to do things. We had a few special requests, and he was great accommodating each of them and remembering all the details. I wanted to see his shop, and he’s invested in some top-shelf equipment, which likely contributes to the quality of his work—both in making pieces and in finishing them.
