I have been doing martial arts for over three decades now over a variety of disciplines and a number of schools. Out of all of them, this one is definitely my favorite. The sifus are both traditional and fairly laid back so the classes have a relaxed feel to them, with people often working at their own pace and receiving individual instruction. The school is great for beginners through to advanced students and everyone is friendly and keen to help. There are social events organized which are great fun and tournaments available for participation if desired. Less

I love this studio because it truly is "come as you are," yet everyone here wants you to be healthy and train hard. My son and I have been training for four years so far, and we look forward to every class. Less

The school has amazing and patient Sifus with John, Chris, and Paul. I have learned new things about my body and learned new skills that I’ve been able to use every day. I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and whenever I need to take a break due to work kicking my butt or other personal things happening, they quickly help me out with whatever my situation is. I’ve had a great time meeting the martial arts community in Colorado and my heart grows every time our classes get bigger to meet more people who love martial arts 😊 I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking to learn the Shaolin or Tai Chi art at your own pace with helpful peers alongside you. Our son has been learning Kung Fu here for about ten months now and we’ve been really happy with the school. I love that the classes are 90 minutes long so a lot can be accomplished with every class. There is also a nice arc to the class structure including warmups/stretches, form practice and fun sprints and exercises at the end. The sifus are dedicated and thoughtful and seem to strike a good balance between discipline, hard work and fun. The progression toward mastery, and commitment to a mind/body awareness practice really promotes confidence and sure enough, our son has dramatically increased his confidence since starting here. He’s also really developing his coordination and athleticism. There is an excellent social piece as well with fun potlucks after testing every few months and the optional weekend Mountain training intensive they do every summer is fantastic. I asked our son what the best thing about the place is and he said, “Everything!” Less

I love this place so much. The instructors are very kind and supportive. The environment is calming. The fellow students are friendly. Tai Chi itself is calming, breath-focused, grounding, and fun to learn! I think this is a great place for total beginners and experienced folk alike. Less
