I have had the opportunity (and honor!) to shoot with a few different boudoir photographers over the years. I was looking for an experience that left me feeling cared for and empowered, after years of struggling with body image issues. Diamond Moon came highly recommended to me, so I wanted to take the jump! I came into this session with a little more self consciousness than my first ever photo session, and was nervous this would color my experience! Boy, was I wrong.The thoroughness of the process, from the pre-screening phone call to the viewing/ordering session, were extremely intentional, professional, and collaborative. There was a level of care with Diamond Moon that I had never experienced before! I am in awe of my images and of the woman that appeared on camera, because that woman is me! I cannot recommend Diamond Moon enough.

Kat and Portia were great to work with and made me feel comfortable and pretty. I was hesitant to have a photo shoot with my age and flaws but am glad I did. My husband loved the pictures! Kat is a fantastic photographer.

Kat and Portia make an excellent team. Portia asks for opinions of what you want and offers suggestions. The emails leading up to the day of pictures were so helpful. I had my timeline on pedicure, color and hair touch up. Kat helped with my wardrobe so the colors were complimentary as well the cut. I felt confident through the entire process. If any woman is looking for pictures to be done, this is where I would recommend.

Side note: go ahead and order a package that comes with an album!! I almost decided to only get the digital images but I am SO GLAD we got the album! The printed pictures are just STUNNING and the impact of those images is so much better than the digital images! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

I recently did a boudoir shoot with Kat. I had been on the fence about it for a while. But finally decided to go ahead. I am so glad I did. From the wardrobe consultation, to the hair and makeup with Portia, to taking the actual photos she walked me through every step and put me at ease. You can even see in my photos where I start to relax and have fun. And my photos turned out so much better than I ever thought they would. There was no pressure to purchase any particular package, she helped me stay in my budget and I would definitely recommend her to any friends who are looking for photographers. Loved the entire experience

I've been fortunate to experience the Diamond Moon Studio with my husband and solo. Both experiences and the outcomes were wonderful!
