Our family is grateful to the staff at North River Home Care. We began working with the team in 2013 after our Dad suffered several strokes. The Hime health care team delivered excellent care as they worked with him to regain his strength. After my Dad dies we continued to work with North River. The staff suppprted my mother who had mobility and cardiac issues along with dementia. My mother was able to remain in an independent setting until 2022 thanks to the efforts of the in home care. In 2022, my mother moved to a nursing home. Our family decided to keep one of the North River Home Care providers. Mum would say, “you know, I don’t need Tracy and I love Tracy”. Tracy gave my Mum her professional skills and her humanity. My mother experienced Tracy as a dear friend. Tracy gave my Mum quality of life right to the end. We are so grateful to Jen Davis, the staff at North River Home Care and most of all to Tracy. You all helped us navigate the challenges of caring for aging parents with expertise and care. I began using North River Home Care in 2021 after concluding a leave of absence from work to care for my elderly mother with dementia. North River was able to provide me with flexibility, and more than anything that peace of mind knowing that my mom would be well cared for. I got to know many of mom's aides quite well most especially Keyona who was with my mom quite frequently. Keyona always went above and beyond in caring for my mom. She was always prompt, so personable, and genuinely caring. My mom adored her. This is indicative of the high level of care North River provides to their clients. Everyone from Julia my mom's case manager to Colleen who answered the phone was always helpful and accommodating. Sadly my mom passed away on December 28, 2024 after a long courageous battle with dementia. I will always be grateful to all at North River who helped me to care for my mom and keep her at home happy and comfortable. I am forever grateful for their wonderful assistance in helping me do this. It is my honor to recommend them.
