I’ve learned something valuable about sales — it becomes easier when I stop thinking about the sale itself. Yes, let’s be honest — we all need to make a living, so money is part of the picture. But if that’s the energy you lead with, clients will sense it immediately. What shifted everything for me was changing my intention. When I truly placed the client at the center — their needs, their context, their success — and made helping them my priority, conversations flowed naturally. I started listening better, asking deeper questions, and genuinely empathizing. I stopped trying to be the star of the meeting — and started making them the star. And surprise — from struggling at a level 3, I now feel like I’ve grown to a 7. But that growth only means something if I stay grounded.
