Been getting a bunch of cavity work done(Had a lot of issues with my teeth in the past which I am paying for now, brush your teeth and floss folks) for roughly 2 years at this clinic and many elsewhere(Took some searching to find a place as good as this), the staff are knowledgeable and kind, Dr Lalji is great at what he does and efficient time wise. Bonus is its very close to my doorstep. Another thing I find nice is there is not a lot of pressure to keep getting fillings(Unless they are actually needed and it will be explained why), if for example there is a concerning area but not enough to be filled then they will watch it and keep an eye instead of just jumping straight to more work done. It's taken a bit for me to want to leave a review because it's generally something I wouldn't do for many reasons.however I'm disappointed with the service given . I took my 15 year old daughter to have a cavity done mind you it was a large cavity and immediately after a few second look at it ,it was determined by him that the tooth should be killed and root canal performed . That definitely didn't sit well with myself my daughter and dad we suggested that they perform the work required to repair a cavity! and put a filling on it let's give it a chance and see or even if we prolonged the life of it she's 15 let's try ! He disagreed and said book an appointment for a root canal he didn't want to do what we wanted .we decided to go have a second opinion and did just that we found a wonderful lady and she believed it was worth trying to save it .she went ahead and performed the work and now 1year in she's happy, her tooth is happy and it's got a chance ..I feel it's important to share so others don't have to be affected the same way ..I would not recommend here for the obvious reason. I went longer than I should have without seeing a dentist because of many bad experiences. When I lost a filling and then another broke, I turned to friends to ask who they see. A dentist-fearing friend raved about Fairmont and so my decision was made. I saw Dr. Sophie and despite my nervousness on entry and numbed face on leaving, I left with a smile and am no longer fearful of the dentist.

Well I don't usually leave reviews but I decided to make a exception. It's been over 2 year's since my last check up and cleaning and I have to say the experience was great. No sore gums from the cleaning and I did leave with a smile, thanks to the terrific receptionists. Way to go girls👍

Not here. My first appointment I made sure to let them know I have social anxiety, and even more anxiety around dental issues. I am asked often how i'm doing, if i'm worried about anything and if I'm still okay. When I came in I was asked what my immediate issue is, and whats my future goals for my dental health. Not ONCE was I made to feel shame, or wrong for wanting my teeth extracted and full dentures. I am through the process of slowly getting teeth removed before we get to the denture part, but each time it's done painlessly, quicker with less issues then every other dentist i've seen in life, and my dentist communicates what he is doing for each step so i'm not nervous with uncertainty. My dentist always asks me questions, discusses with me the best options for next steps and helps me make choices based on my budget, not on how much they can get out of me. There has been a recent change in ownership, but no change in quality of care I have received, and they are lovely people. I even brought my boyfriend and signed him up for care since his dentist retired, and he has been well looked after. I cannot recommend Fairmont Dental Centre enough!
