I walked in to order one Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich at 12;30pm on Thursday afternoon. I waited a few minute for the previous customer to put in her order. When it was my turn the phone rang. There were two men (doing the cooking) and one woman doing the order taking and waitressing the dining area. She asked me to wait. I did. in the middle of that phone conversation (which I assumed was an order) the phone rang again as they must have more than one active line. She asked her current caller to hold and took the second caller. She took their order. Then took the first caller's order. She began my order when the phone rang again. She took that caller's order before finishing my order. I waited patiently as I understand that someone has to answer the calls. She finally got back to me and completed my order and told me to have a seat to wait. I'm a people watcher so I sat off to the side on a table and watched. A few people came and went to pick up orders that were called in or ordered online. Two couples came into the dining area, and placed their orders with the person taking orders. 25 minutes went by and I began to notice that the two couples who came in well after me who were eating in had already received their orders. I approached the counter and asked when my sandwich would be ready as there were several people in after me who were giving their food. Her response to me was given in a very condescending tone was "You should have called ahead, like these other people." I said that I watched as the people who came in to "Dine in" after me ordered well after I did...15 minutes after I placed my simple sandwich order. She became extremely NASTY with me and told me to sit down and she'll call me when my food was ready. I watched her be nasty with a Grub Hub delivery guy and another customer while waiting. Ten minutes later I received the sandwich which I couldn't eat because I ran out of time for lunch. I took the sandwich home and reheated and ate it. The sandwich was okay reheated. The way they treat their customers in that place is unreal!!! Their food is good but because their customer service is so bad I won't be going back even if a can "call ahead to order." Less

After reading good reviews on Google, went last night to pick up food. They have good menu to choose from we ordered chicken gyro and grilled vegetables gyro. Both were good. Very nice and clean restaurant, they have tables to dine in. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They cooked every order fresh. Definitely will go back again.

There were just a few pale thin slivers of meat. The tomatoes were pale. For that and fries I paid $20?? I wasn't born yesterday, guys. It's hard not to feel offended. Also still hungry. There was the Thursday night "special" but I didn't ask for that because I'm only one person, and instead of two gyros I just wanted some fries. $20??? And when I went to the counter to pay, and tried to ask if the price was different for credit cards, the woman cut me off and talked over me, answering some other question I had not asked. Zaros has our heart. A friend that previously lived in the Huntington area recommended them to us when we moved here and they have since become our go-to Greek cuisine. I am a huge fan of their falafel salad and their gyros are superb. Also, their chicken tenders and fries are insane - I don’t know what they do to them but whatever it is cannot be replicated at home.

My friends tell me that the Italian food is really good here, but I wouldn't know because I'm hooked on their Greek food. Spanakopita is one of my top five favorite dishes and Zaros makes the best version of it. The crust is perfectly flaky. The other dish I'm stuck on is their lamb souvlaki -- it's so juicy and tender. My husband loves their falafel. I doubt there's a bad item on this menu.

I had Chicken Picatta that I thought was great. Really well done. My wife had a Gyro platter that was fantastic. The food is very fresh and well prepared. Lots of flavor with just resorting to lots of butter and salt. To go with the great food, great service from polite people. Highly recommended!

I've ordered lunch 3 times.They are very friendly, and i haven't been disappointed. The gyro is filling n delicious, the spanikopita is SO delicious and greek salad is great, the fries are nice n crispy (but i order with less salt bc i have high blood pressure.) So far so good and delivery is fast 15 to 20 minutes.

Always love zaros, chicken souvlaki is best, yogurt sauce is fantastic and staff always friendly. They have their own app which makes ordering very convenient and you earn points on the app towards food etc. Was there last night for take out and they were packed, they're closed sundays just side note. Atmosphere is homey and inviting, staff very attentive.

Since 1995 going there as steady loyal customer since my high school days and 25 years of service it keeps getting better and better. The staff is very polite and friendly and I, give it a number 1 in my book. The best Greek and Italian combo of all time. Having my birthday party in there is the greatest and getting treated like a king.

I have been looking for a Greek place since the one by my house changed hands. The yogurt sauce is so similar I would almost think it was the same. The fries were awesome and the meat was very authentic. I'm so happy I listened to my coworker and went.

This is a good place to go for a casual lunch or dinner. My family goes to Zaros often for their chicken gyros, but the pizza and Italian dishes are also pretty good. If you prefer to order take out, give them at least twenty minutes to get your order ready (at least that's been my experience).

Who would have thought this little store front with lighted signs saying pizza and gyro's would deliver world class food! It's like finding a treasure. My family ordered both Greek and Italian foods and everything was better than good it was great! We will definately be coming back!!!
