I’d always wanted to check out this friendly neighborhood gym of mine and when I went to check it out and noticed how empty (red flag) and spacious it was I was excited to enroll. Until they wanted to charge me $500 to show me the machines. I explained I was not looking for trainings, I just wanted to know which machines would help me meet my goals. Standard gym etiquette. You're not Equinox to charge that outrageous price. There’s not even a hygiene station and the cardio machines are old and suck. Boooooo Less

I’ve been coming here for a year now and it’s a great facility coaches are very nice and have many years of experience in the sport and do a good coaching they also have a great gym you can do your workouts at

I have been coming to SFC Gym for years now, a frequent user of the gym and the classes. Per other reviews, there had been an issue with the staff in the past, but they got taken care of. Coaches Arman and Vahan are world-class title holders, the team is always working and learning, and the variety of equipment is plentiful. I highly recommend!

Instructor doesn't care about new students, we would do a new technique and the instructor wouldn't check to see if we were doing it right or not. There is 1 coach for a lot of students and they cant keep track.

One of the best fighting classes in the area. The staff is very nice, polite and coaches are very attentive. Facility itself well kept, very clean.

I came into the Sunland fighting club gym one day looking for a new fighting gym. Immediately when i walked this Russian front desk lady started trying too fight me. I had too use my years of aikido training too fend off this woman trying to attack me. This gym is very close to my place and I love boxing so I call and ask “can I come in for today and pay a fee?” & she answers “no, there is a monthly fee of $50 or it come when you sign up for a class.” A couple hours later i arrive at the gym & no one is in there and I’m thinking great I’ll get some good clear work in. I don’t have my bag so I have $100 bill to pay for the month & maybe a class along with my gloves, wraps, jump rope, and a towel. The 1st thing she says is “its only monthly memberships” I responded 🙂”yes, I would like to sign up for the month.” She sees the $100 & says “we don’t accept cash, it’s all card” her face still very un-inviting 😒 she says “we only do card because some people just disappear” . At that point it felt lot of prejudice and racism. I clearly have a iPhone 13 Pro Max in my hand (who doesn’t have Apple Pay???) but she continues to say “we accept only card”. I said thanks & she didn’t respond. I can only speak from my experience, I’m from Texas so I have experienced bigots many times 1stly. I’ll just say that In 2022 I would pray that people would be better, smh 2022!!! Less
