It wasn't easy putting a new kitchen in 48 year old house, but Rod's Kitchens pulled it off well. Considering our concerns, they offered us other trades if required. The flow of work from Rod's was on point, and the trades men involved assisting were all gentlemen. I've just completed my second Rod's kitchen with stylite cabinetry and stone benchtop again. The best features of this business is the staff's experience in the designing, construction and fitting, and the quality of materials used. So make sure you get Steve to help design and measure because he thought of some genius design/construction features and has 30 years experience. Roger the carpenter/fitter has 20 years experience and was perfect again. They are the 2 most important jobs imo, that make a kitchen perfect. The quoting is good because I could use my own plumber and sparky. Although they have a good priced sparky and plasterer, a couple of their other tradies weren't perfect. I like their ability to make cupboards and drawers to any size rather than having size intervals. Their precision is awesome. There were a couple of problems along the way but they got resolved to my satisfaction and I doubt there's a better kitchen company than Rod's. They have excellent support staff whom respond to phone/email quickly. Overall their cabinetry and pricing is 10 out of 10, but a couple of their outsourced tradies let them down a bit. Most importantly, I'd not hesitate in buying a 3rd Rod's kitchen. Less

Team at Rod's was fantastic from start to finish. Compared to others we tried to work with, we found Rod's to be the right fit for us. They were very patient with us as we refined our design. Provided very helpful guidance, guidance nearly 12 months on that we were lucky to have and resulted in a space we love and use constantly. Comms were excellent. Zero surprises. We chose Rod's Kitchen after receiving quotes from several recommended and advertised companies. Robert who came out to measure and quote was knowledgeable and easy to talk to and understood our requirements and gave us exactly what we wanted. Robert, the ladies in the showroom, the installers and tradesman were all very helpful and professional. What really blew me away was in these uncertain and forever delayed times, they hit every forecast date for demo, install and finishing. We are very happy with our new kitchen and enjoying the increased storage and functionality, along with the great new look. I would highly recommend to anyone. Less

After a really uncomfortable meeting with another company trying to pressure you in signing same day to get discount which was still $20,000 more than Rods Kitchens. Exceptional! We have built 2 kitchens with Rods this year. Both are amazingly beautiful, functional and finished to a high standard. They were so helpful for the whole process from beginning to end. From Rob who gave the original quotes and suggested things I hadn't even thought of, to the wonderful ladies in the showrooms - both Meadowbrook and Burleigh Heads. They were very helpful when it came to making decisions and were so patient with me and my changes. Both kitchens are even better than I had hoped for. They are also very reasonably priced. This might sound like a strange review because I haven’t received the quote yet from Rod’s to undertake the kitchen renovation BUT I felt compelled to write this because I have been in the process of receiving quotes for 6 weeks and it’s been a depressing process; dishonest sales people, unprofessional sales people, over-quoting, vague quotes not fully outlining the true cost….and.the list goes on. I need to also out some of these quotes came in from the most expensive kitchen companies in Brisbane. Today, finally, I met with someone that I felt fulfilled every requirement and that I felt wasn’t trying to rip me off. He was practical, honest, professional and amazing insight, including real detail would be involved in the build (building knowledge). His knowledge today corrected so many wrongs coming from the other kitchen companies and he has potentially saved us many thousands of dollars. His name is Mark Cleary from Rod’s Kitchens. I’m not sure yet what the quote will come in at but I just wanted to point out that’s Mark’s service and knowledge was/is outstanding! You should call him before you sign off with any other company.
