C&J Basement Solutions put 13 steel beams on an underground garage wall that was bowed and cracked. We had used C&J prior on a VERY successful basement waterproofing project. I called and Ron responded promptly, assessed the situation, provided what we felt was a very reasonable quote and we booked the job. About 3 days in advance, C&J called to confirm the appointment for the repair work. The crew of Cain, Steve and Cody called when they were ready to head our way. 3 of the most polite, efficient, hard working young men a person could hope for. They explained what their plan was and went to work! During the several hour project there was no arguing, bickering or confusion, just explaining what they were doing, as they worked. They worked as a well organized team, assisting each other as needed very efficiently. During the entire project they swept and cleaned up as they went. When they were done they did a final cleanup and swept the floor. After using C&J on 2 DIFFERENT types of projects I HIGHLY recommend C&J and their team and would DEFINETLY use them again without any hesitation! We hired this company to fix a recurring erosion issue on the steps into our basement. We have a cellar-style basement with an outdoor entrance from our porch. They quoted us almost $5,000 to pour a concrete pad and build a cinder block wall around part of the entrance. They took weeks to fix it, even stopping in the middle for a few weeks without communicating the pause to us. After they "fixed" it , we realized the problem wasn't fixed and all the dirt kept falling on the same area. We called them back, but they blamed it on another issue. Unfortunately they didn't want to fix it, and we are still having the same issue with the basement as before we hired them even though we paid almost $5000 to get it fixed. Now we have to hire a different company to fix the actual problem. After they left, we also discovered the hose spray nozzle was broken and our five-gallon bucket was missing, both of which they used to mix the concrete for the pad. They never told us that they had damaged or had to throw away our items.

Had some very troubling concerns around some potential movement in my block foundation paired with water damage to some above grade areas. My foundation had roughly 12 yrs prior recieved inadequate carbon straps that do not anchor to anything but the block. Ron from C and J came out and was so helpful, professional and more than anything honest about his take on my situation. Although he could have sold me on one of many fixes to my concerns he gave me his professional opinion that the water damage concern was not connected to the foundation at all and really was not in any condition to need repair or restraint. As the walls were finished when purchased we were never aware of what amount of movement was present when the previous owner placed the carbon straps on. Ron then found with further inspection a concern with how my home guides water down my siding and windows on the exterior wall that directly connected to my water damage and interior concerns. This assessment and full transparency with noticeable care from Ron helped me from spending tens of thousands on foundation fixes I didnt need and otherwise would not fix my core problem. Although I did not recieve any services other than an inspection I can greatly appreciate a company with leaders like Ron. Will have them in mind for any future needs!

Ron was so wonderful and knowledgeable when he did the estimating and never made the experience feel overwhelming.
