From the initial call for an estimate to our completed basement renovation we have had exceptional professionalism. Ron came to our house to look over our project and thoroughly reviewed all of our wants, needs, concerns regarding our remodel. Ron from C&J came out to my home 2 months ago. I had delayed calling basement companies for 2 years for fear of the repair cost. When I finally called, a couple companies gave me estimates from 8 – 10K. While Ron was out, he carefully inspected my basement and crawlspaces. I pointed out things I was concerned about. He walked me thru why the things I was seeing are actually not problems. Then he proceeded to educate me on how to look for issues that could crop up in the future. Bottom line, Ron said my current setup was “adequate” and that it was up to me whether I wanted C&J to suggest something further right now. I decided to leave well enough alone and keep an eye out for the things he explained to me. Because of all the time he spent educating me, I wanted to pay him for a “service call” but he declined. I am very pleased with the quality of work and price. This is the second time and home I hired C & J Basement Solutions to work on. In this home I added a basement bathroom. Ron Frye met with me and we discussed what I wanted, and he put together a quote—not an estimate. The price was what the final price would be, absent changes. I knew exactly what to expect. Adam did much of the work and he was very professional, courteous, and conscientious. I could tell he cared to do quality work, and to leave my home as clean as it had been when they arrived. C&J Basement Solutions were so helpful with our basement finishing. Ron helped us plan the space and he was very communicative and honest about how the project would go. Adam came and did so much work. He was always prompt and communicated every step of the process. He is really amazing, and I cannot believe one person could honestly do all that he did. He was always so patient and kind with our very noisy dogs and kids, too. I cannot recommend Adam enough. He's fantastic. Chris helped with painting and blacking out the ceiling. He and Adam worked together, and they were very considerate about our space. They even had to re-do the painting because it came out all splotchy. I never heard either of them complain about set backs. They were always so positive and proactive. Having a small leak of some sort on the floor of my basement I contacted C&J based off of good reviews found on Google and Facebook. Their project manager came out and assessed my issue. He helped me understand the issue, which wasn't my basement walls but rather a plumbing problem. Further, he said I'd be better served getting a plumber to fix. Nearly unbelievable honesty! He probably could've had me believing I needed a huge and costly repair, but he opted to share his knowledge and point me in a better direction. I hope to never have serious basement problems, but if I do C&J will be my first call. THANKS A TON! Less
