My 3-year-old went to Kids on 12th for camp when my family spent a week in the Philly area last summer and had such a great time, coming home every day smiling and talking about the activities. I loved the positive energy every time I stepped into the room, and I got that same vibe from talking to Sharon as well as the other staff. Everybody seemed so happy to be there. Definitely keeping this in mind if we ever move to Philly or spend time there another summer!

KO12 is a truly joyful place with incredible teacher retention and a staff that clearly loves what they do. We switched our child to KO12 from another preschool, and she is so happy! The program is well run, child-focused, and offers plenty of outdoor time and space to run around in their amazing facility. The staff takes the time to get to know every child personally, which makes such a difference. We are enrolled in the Pre-K program and have also sent our children to the summer camp. Our kids love KO12, and we do too!

Our daughter attended KO12 for kindergarten and two years of summer camps. We loved it! The teachers and staff are loving and meet your child where they are, and we think our daughter got a great kindergarten education despite being a little younger than 5 years old when she began. They go out a lot during both the regular school year and in summer camp, walking all over to nearby parks, squares, and pools.

We felt so lucky to find kids on 12th for aftercare & parents night out! The CEO & teachers are so amazing, professional, warm, and friendly. At pick up the kids are having so much fun. The center is big, fun, & feels like home for the kids. My son is always happy there. Can’t recommend them enough!!!

Amazing is not giving this place enough credit for the good the do, the way the place is ran. It’s beautiful inside, very spacious, no one on their phone during tours, no dirty or uncleanliness areas. Ms. Sharon is amazing and answered ALL my questions without hesitation. It almost felt like family, and we had not even enrolled yet. They also give back to their community, and most importantly it thee MOST DIVERSE school I have ever seen in a long time . This SOLD me, and we will be starting this school in the fall of 2023 . I’ll be sure to update with my experience moving forward which I have nothing but high expectations for. KO12 is the best school I have ever seen. Judging by cleanliness, communication, colorfulness/diversity, and the genuine smiles and conversations I had with Ms. Sharon ….. this school deserves an A+++++ GRADE A PRIVATE SCHOOL.Update: enrolled my child. She cried when I came to pick her up, and left me when I dropped her off!! That’s every parents dream!!! My daughter loves her school 🫶❤️

Let me just say, Sharon, Julius and Lisa oh and their music teacher are amazing! And that’s just to name a few. My kid is in Kindergarten and she’s super stoked to learn and play with her friends 🥰🥰we absolutely love it here! HUGE THANKS TO KO12

Between 3-4 yrs old, our son was having multiple tantrums on the daily. Not standard “that’s not fair” tantrums but “kicking and throwing toys across the room bc he didn’t know how to express his big emotions” tantrums. He was constantly asking to stay home. After a yr of this, we switched to KO12 and the tantrums completely subsided! We had no idea that his previous school (which is a great school) was impacting him so much. KO12 was just a better fit for what our son needed. Once in a while, he will still ask to stay home from school (bc what kid doesn’t love to play hooky?) but as soon as we arrive, he goes straight to the playroom w/his friends, often forgetting to say bye to us. 😆 My top 5 reasons for why I love KO12 for our son: 1. Positive Environment: I immediately feel the warmth and love as soon as I walk in. Interacting with staff and walking through the space, it’s very clear that they have a community. Kids feel the love and want to be here. Our son has also made more friends here. 2. Flexible & Adaptable: Teachers meet their students where they are at and understand different learning styles. Our son thrives in their “play, work, play, work” model instead of sitting in a classroom all day w/1 recess. 3. Focus on Individual Needs: Teachers take note of student behaviors, flag it to the parents and collaborate on a solution. 4. Centralized Communication System: direct messaging, newsletters, and documents like the handbook are all centralized in one mobile app. Also, staff are super responsive via the app. 5. Easy Drop-off & Pick-up: There’s a spacious parking lot out back which is super clutch for a busy part of center city and the app makes it easy to scan a QR code to time stamp your drop off pick up. Really great for kids who have multiple parents/guardians.
