The people here seem really nice, however, I'm unlikely to ever return to this practice. They wanted to do something my insurance wouldn't cover and refused to do the basic cleaning it would cover because they said I needed this special thing.I actually ended up going somewhere else same day after Hillside insisted I needed a 190 dollar special cleaning and they said there was literally nothing wrong with my teeth other than the normal amount of plaque and tarter they see daily and that they didn't need a specialty cleaning. Just the basic cleaning was all I needed.I hope other people have a better experience than I did.

The people who work here are very nice people.However, they claim to accept Medicaid only to try and push for other types of cleaning that aren't covered by insurance.Claimed I needed some type of special cleaning despite being there 6 months ago for 200 dollars.Literally left crying because when you are on Medicaid you're on it because you are not well off financially. Having an unexpected 200 dollar cleaning fee is gut retching. They don't even have discount plans. Just a payment plan... Which is nice and all but when you can barely afford rent... I can't squeeze 200 out of thin air.I honestly don't understand how you can't just do what insurance covers.... Even if it doesn't clean every bit of plaque and tarter off the teeth. Just doing something is better than nothing.I take 100 times better care of my teeth now than 5 years ago and I literally have never had this issue getting my teeth cleaned until I started coming here. What's worse, I went somewhere else for a second opinion and they said they could clean my teeth no problem.This place just feels predatory. Honestly, I'm thinking of reporting this to both the Better Business Bureau and the Georgia Board of Dentistry.
