I'm beyond impressed with the progress my 6-year-old daughter has made at Codella Academy! In just three short months, she's not only learned new skills and tactics, but her confidence has soared. The instructors are top-notch, providing a supportive and encouraging environment that allows students to thrive. Their patience, expertise, and passion for jujutsu are evident in every class. Watching my daughter develop physically, emotionally, and socially has been an incredible experience. I've seen her grow from a shy beginner to a confident, enthusiastic young martial artist. Took my first adult white belt BBJ class last night and it was awesome! The facility was super clean and very spacious, the group of guys were all friendly and eager to teach/learn. Mike Codella the owner showed me around and made me feel like a part of the family. Their schedule is great with a variety of classes to take. Excited to begin my training. Codella Academy is a friendly and respectful environment for all ages and skill levels. Rita and Mike take a personal interest in each of their students and have even gone out of their way to help one of my children on a personal matter when they were in need. My children look forward to each class, whether for jiu jitsu or kickboxing training. We are grateful for the amazing coaching staff that challenge students to train hard while focusing on safety, respect, technique, and confidence building. The coaching staff each take their time to work on form and technique with each student and teach them using real life scenarios that they may face in the real world, such as in school, and not just on the mat. There are always enough coaches on the floor so that each student is looked after and taught safely and correctly.
