A really good gym, and a real CrossFit gym in the best sense. I liked that the owners coach and train alongside everybody - that tells you a lot about a place. The coaching is strong, the programming is interesting and it actually progresses; you can tell somebody is thinking about where the athletes are going. The community is great, good people, real support on the floor - one of the members, Chris, taught me double-unders.My favourite coach was Brittany. She is very technical, focused on the details and on good technique, and she is attentive to everyone she has in front of her - she notices when something is off, comes over, explains, and helps you build the movement correctly. If you are new to CrossFit, get into her classes as often as you can.The other coaches are good too. I trained with Tina, Bailey and Brittany, and everybody watches technique, corrects, helps, and you can always ask a question. Tina, as the owner, is a genuinely pleasant person to talk to on top of being a good coach.Small details that matter more than people think. The gym is spotless - there are places where you find dust in the corners, and here it is perfect, and in CrossFit that is not cosmetic, you spend half the workout on the floor doing burpees. And even on busy days there was always enough space and equipment for everybody; the room is big and well thought out. They limit the class size, but I could always book a spot without a problem.A very well-made gym, built with care, the way people do things for themselves. A good family business. I would recommend it with both hands to anyone interested in CrossFit.
