Ethical Energy Solar

The sales representative Kyle Hershner did a good job of explaining that the solar panels are rented for a monthly fee that increases annually and the engineering of the solar array would be sufficient to produce enough electricity to offset my monthly electric bill to zero during the summer months and produce more electricity than I use to export electricity to the power grid for credit on future electricity bills when the solar panels may not produce enough electricity to cover my own usage. There are 38 400watt solar panels installed on my roof. If solar panels operated at 100% efficiency that would be an enormous amount of electricity produced but the best my solar panels have produced on a single day was 68%. That being said I have produced more electricity than I have used since the panels became operational on June 12th 2026. Producing 1.9 mega watt hours of electricity I have produced more electricity than the 1.4 mega watt hours of electricity I consumed and have the 564 kwh credits towards seasonal and weather short falls. There has only been two days that I didn't produce more electricity than I used on days with mostly thunder showers all day. In the winter solar panels will only produce about 40 % of the energy as they do during the spring and summer months because the position of the sun changes and the solar panels are fixed and can't adjust for the change in the suns position and consumption of electricity will increase when the furnace is running to keep the house warm. But the electric bills still should be less than an electric bill that I would get with only consuming electric with producing any. As the solar panels are rented any repairs of the panels are the responsibility of ethical energy and if anything from the panels damages my home, ethical energy has to cover insurance on the panels. To me, that makes the rental a good choice. One excessive hail storm could cause significant damage to solar panels and if I bought them I would have to foot the bill to replace them, as rentals that is ethical energy,'s responsibility and they agreed to this agreement for 25 years! I will update my review after I have gone through the winter, but for now, for sales representative Kyle 5 stars, for the installation team that installed them 5 stars. For the enphase control box a monitored service. 5 stars. I recommend ethical energy to install solar panels for a rental agreement.
