My husband and I decided to get solar on our house. Cathy was super helpful in answering all questions, including how they would hold up in weather and how the panels should perform over time. Solar panels are a great way to save money (it’s insane how much the electric companies charge) and protect the environment. Additionally, solar panels raise the value of a home.

When I decided to have a solar system installed, I met with several out-of-state companies that did work in Pennsylvania. After reading reviews, I decided that having a local company install and service the system was a priority. After searching, I found Ethical Energy and met with Kelly O’Brien. She was very helpful with my many questions and got the process started in July 2025. I started off with a home solar evaluation, which revealed a lot about my home and how the system would eventually be installed. Ethical Energy did everything from obtaining Homeowners Association approval and township permits to utility inspections, system design plans, and eventual installation. Ethical Energy’s installers are local and did a great job on a cool, windy November day. By the time the utility inspected the system and the new net meter was installed, it was well into January, and snow covered my roof. It is late March now, and the system has added over 600 kWhs to the grid. The Solar Edge app is great for monitoring the system. I am very satisfied with the system overall and surprised by how much power the system produces. I want to thank Kelli for all her help and for keeping in contact from my initial visit to checking in to see how the system is working.
