Went to Dr David with significant lower leg pain at the midway point of my training for the Chicago marathon. With his guidance I focused on a balance of rest, strength training, and balance work to get myself back on track. I’m feeling as strong as ever heading into the marathon because of the work David and I did together as part of his plan. I highly recommend working with him to address those lingering issues.

I had a really great experience with RecoverRx Physical Therapy and Dr. Erin Pereira. Erin is a great listener and did a great job figuring out what was causing my pain. She took the time to explain everything and put together a treatment plan that was specific to my needs and goals.She also adjusted the exercises as I progressed, which made a big difference. After working with her, my pain completely went away, and I now have a much better understanding of what was causing it and how to prevent it from coming back.I’m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Pereira and RecoverRx!

I have been seeing Dr. Megan Jensen for over 2 months now and I am extremely happy with my progress. I suffered a lower back injury over 3 years ago and developed chronic pain to my lower back, SI joint, hamstring and pelvic floor. Since my injury I have seen many different physical therapists and pelvic floor physical therapists and Dr. Megan is the first to mention hypermobility. There have been some movements I have been unable to perform without pain and always wondered if this could be a preventing my progree. Thankfully, Dr. Megan is very knowledgeable in hypermobility and has helped teach me how to perform certain movements which has helped me complete them without pain and prevent my pelvic floor from working too hard and being able to relax. I am very happy and highly recommend.

Highly encourage seeing Dr. Megan!!Originally came in for pelvic floor physical therapy after having 2 children. While rehabbing my pelvic floor, Dr. Megan also collaborated to help diagnose a labrum tear in my hip. We were able to reduce my pain and develop a program to keep my progress and strength moving forward. She is kind, knowledgeable, and great at explaining what is happening and why. Recovery Rx physical therapy is a great facility and staffed with kind, knowledgeable,Professional therapist’s. Dr Meg was my pelvic floor specialist and she was very easy to understand and to work with. She always made sure to video tape my exercises so I could refer back to the video if I forgot howto do them at home. She has a good sense of humor and is so easy to talk to. I reached my goal quicker than expected. I highly recommend Recovery Rx!

Not sure where to even begin with my recovery. I started here with a lot of fear. Fear that I wouldn’t be able to get past my injury. Fear that my mobility would limit what I was able to do. Fear that what I enjoyed before I wouldn’t be able to do again. Today I did what I thought wasn’t possible. I cannot say enough about the treatment and genuine care that Dr. Bokerman has provided me. Dr. Dave supported, guided, and encouraged me throughout all of our sessions and as a result, the fear is gone and the confidence is back. Happy tears today!

I had a great experience with Dr. Megan at RecoverRX Physical Therapy. As a CrossFitter, it was awesome working with someone who also does CrossFit and really understands the movements, terminology, and goals that come with the sport. She took the time to listen to everything I was feeling, asked great questions, and came up with a game plan that made sense and got me moving in the right direction. I always felt heard and never rushed. I was having pain when doing barbell back squats and had plantar fasciitis (PF). Dr Sarah was very helpful in explaining the causes and prescribing exercises that helped. I was able to squat and deadlift pain-free within the first week and my plantar fasciitis was greatly reduced in that time frame, and the PF disappeared by the 2nd week. RecoverRX was much better than my previous experience with Duly as the exercises are more effective since they fatigue the supporting muscles to lead to adaptations. Dr. Sarah also used dry needling which has helped with my range of motion. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sarah and her team for your athletic PT needs!

I can't say enough good things about RecoverRX and specifically Dr. Sarah! I started working with them for some issues I'd developed from bicycle training/racing... After fixing those issues for me, I was unfortunately involved in an accident being hit by a car while out for a training ride. I am so glad I had Dr. Sarah and the RecoverRX team already in my corner. My recovery, with their help, has been significantly faster than doctors had originally estimated. Having a PT that truly has your back in a tough time is outstanding, and I appreciate that greatly. Dr. Sarah listens and truly cares about my well being, and that's a feeling I did not have in experiences with other pt groups. Dr. Erin was great! I was recommended this practice by an Ironman athlete I know after months of neck pain that wouldn't go away. I'm a swimmer and figured my practices were prolonging it. Erin was great at analyzing why the problem occurred and what parts of the body to focus on strengthening & improving mobility to alleviate and prevent further injury. I feel great, haven't had neck pain since our first visit!

I started seeing Dr. Megan for pelvic floor therapy shortly after I found out I was expecting my first child last year because I wanted to learn about the health of my pelvic floor and prepare myself for labor. I’m so happy I did this because I was able to prep my body for labor with the breathing techniques and exercises she taught me and it also helped me feel more confident going into labor. Dr Megan is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and explains everything in a way that’s easy for the patient to understand. This is not just for women expecting children - There are so many things that society has taught us are normal for women to have to deal with when it comes to our pelvic floor and that’s SO WRONG! There is help - it’s pelvic floor therapy. And you don’t need a doctor referral to come to RecoverRx - give them a call and schedule a visit, you won’t be disappointed!
