David has been a HUGE help! I’m 41 and have been throwing out my back about once a year since I was 27, more recently just from hitting a golf ball which has scared me to the point where I needed to do something once and for all. I reached out to a personal trainer who referred me to David and we did a 10-week rehab/training program and I haven’t felt this confident about my recovery maybe ever.We focused on low back/core exercises first, then glutes, legs, shoulders, etc. and I felt great after each session. Some soreness but the good kind where you feel even better a few days later. Now that I’m done with my 10 weeks I’m excited to get back on the golf course and get some content for my new YouTube channel! David was even kind enough to let me film one of our sessions. Would 10/10 highly recommend, do NOT take your back for granted, even if you’re in your 20s this is an investment that will pay off for the rest of your life.My only wish is I’d done this sooner…

Dr. Megan is a miracle worker! I seriously could not write a long enough review. When I first arrived at RecoveryRx, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. Constant pain led me to countless doctors, each offering different diagnoses and referrals. I was beyond discouraged and unsure of my future.Enter Dr. Megan. Not only did she help relieve my pain, but she also empowered me to understand my hypermobile body and take control of my healing. She knows SO much, and it is clear she genuinely cares about her patients and her specialty. She is incredibly attentive throughout every session, listens carefully, and responds thoughtfully. She always makes sure that every aspect of my well-being is considered (physical health, sleep, mental health, etc.) She is caring, brilliant, and fun to be around too! The only "downside" is that as you get better, you don't have to go as often...which stinks when you enjoy your sessions so much haha! I have multiple orthopedic problems due to hypermobility, (scoliosis, knee and foot/ankle involvement).I am an Occupational Therapist with 38 years of experience, so I knew I needed to find a Physical Therapy clinic that could address all my issues and provide a custom treatment plan. I also wanted to see the SAME therapist for my sessions to ensure continuity of care. Dr. Megan at RecoverRX has been able to provide exactly this! She is very knowledgeable on my condition, provides education and constant modifications to my treatment plan as I progress. When you reach menopause, your body starts to fall apart. I had been struggling with several chronic, but not severe, pains in my body, particularly in my hips, glutes, and lower back. My doctor suggested that I consider pelvic floor therapy because everything is connected to the pelvic floor. I have been working with Dr. Megan and it has helped tremendously! She explained everything clearly and I started seeing progress within just a couple of sessions. She has even helped me with some new injuries. I love the flexibility of being able to target different needs as they come up rather than being tied to what my insurance tells me that I have to do. Dr. Sarah Greenwell has been amazing in helping me recover strength and mobility after my knee cartilage injury. I’ve lived with chronic knee pain for a very long time. Like many, I’ve gone through physical therapy multiple times, over the years, and never found long term improvement in the short sessions and standard menu of exercises you’re prescribed.I then started working with virtual DPT’s. With virtual PT, I didn’t feel as though I was receiving the personalized care I needed to work on my issue and my pain wasn’t improving. Finally, I searched online for a physical therapy clinic and am so glad I found RecoverRX. I’ve only been working with Dr. David for a month and I can’t believe how much my pain has decreased, my knee extension and flexion has improved and, most importantly, my confidence is high. I came to RecoverRx specifically for shockwave therapy to address a case of triceps tendinosis. After trying other therapies like PRP in the past with less-than-satisfying results, I was hopeful but cautious.My experience was excellent. Dr. Sarah was amazing. She was incredibly professional, took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, the science behind shockwave therapy, and what I could expect during and after treatment. She broke everything down in a way that was easy to understand, which really put me at ease.The shockwave therapy itself worked very well for me. The goal was to get over the persistent pain and inflammation hump that was preventing me from effectively starting a rehab program. The treatment successfully did exactly that. It calmed the area down and significantly reduced the pain to a level where I could finally begin the necessary strengthening and physical therapy work without being in constant pain.The rest of the staff I interacted with were also friendly and professional, contributing to a positive environment.I would highly recommend RecoverRx for anyone that is looking for an effective treatment and a professional staff.

I used to struggle with plantar fasciitis on and off for years. I saw 4 different physical therapists and 2 podiatrists with no luck. For several months I have been working with Dr. Megan Jensen at RecoverRX PT in Oak Brook to improve joint pain and instability issues related to my hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). Dr. Megan has provided me tremendous technical guidance and overall support to help me safely build strength through weight lifting, an important fitness goal of mine as I age and try to manage osteoporosis. With her expertise I have also been able to flesh out an all-round workout routine that includes balance, strength and cardio exercises. And she helped me figure out proper alignment that frees up joint pain for sleep! Everything we do is highly individualized, nothing cookie cutter about it. Not only is Dr. Megan a highly skilled physical therapist, she is friendly and welcoming, always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.
