Jo's background as a qualified nurse and the fact that she still takes patient's bloods in a surgery, instilled confidence and trust in the group and I feel able to contact her in the future for help or advice. Although there is alot to take in over the 2 days, the course is delivered in bite sized chunks that are easily understandable and the opportunity to practise as many times as we needed is quite unique compared to other training courses that I have attended. She gave me the technique and the confidence to pass the course, so much so that I've moved on from practicing on fake arms to taking bloods from patients within the week! I can't rate her enough, a great 2 days and a very worthwhile experience of your considering becoming a phlebotomist!
