Happy Tree Guys is a tree business, but this is about the kindness of the people that make up the business. I called him out of the blue, not about a tree but about a little girl's cockatiel that was stuck in a tree. He was just a couple of miles away so he went right over and rescued the bird from the top of a 40 ft Ironwood tree. This is the kind of business you want to hire - people that care about other people. People that care about doing the right thing, and being a good neighbor. Do they do an outstanding job? Yes - clearly they do - just look at their reviews! They also bring something money cannot buy - kindness, integrity and caring. What a fabulous bonus!

I called Happy Tree Guys, based on previous reviews, to trim two pepper trees at my home in Scottsdale. Eric came and I agreed to his price. He told me it was still too hot to trim them now and when it cooled off he would schedule the work. However, he proceeded to trim them without the weather cooling a couple weeks later. Almost immediately one of the fully mature trees lost all its leaves and died. The second one which was perfectly healthy is now with the help of a real arborist trying to survive. Bottom line is this. Essentially Happy Tree Guys killed one tree and damaged the other by not doing the right thing, even by his own words. Every other tree expert said they never should have been trimmed at that time. I guess he needed the paycheck. Well it is costing me many thousands to replace the damage done. Obviously my advise is to avoid this company at all costs.

We're very happy with Eric and his professional crew. They were very thorough in every aspect of their trimming process and tree removal. They spent time assessing and bringing the beauty out of the tree or bush they were working on. Eric is an enjoyable and knowledgeable person to talk to about your project. During the last monsoon blast a huge bottle tree in my front yard fell over. Their website has a texting function , They answered right away came out took a look gave me a quote. Came back later on in the afternoon took care of the giant tree in the middle of my front yard. He was very knowledgeable, very professional, and honest.

I had a large saguaro in my yard that was leaning. I was worried about the damage it could cause to my property or the neighbors’ if it fell. I called Happy Tree Guys because they had done work in our neighborhood. They put me on the schedule quickly because of my concerns. What really impressed me was that they brought a crew of four, their equipment and a lift tractor and went right to work. The cactus was removed without any damage to fencing or surrounding structures. It was a fair price for a possibly dangerous job. When they left, cleanup was perfect. Would definitely recommend, very professional.
