I can’t speak highly enough of Shawn and his crew at Altec. My refrigerator water line broke and flooded most of my rental, destroying the hardwood floors and custom cabinets. Shawn’s crew began mitigation and worked with the insurance company on my behalf. Once that was completed they began repairs and remodeling the kitchen/floors. The quality of their work was exceptional. They were quick and kept me informed. I especially liked the cabinet maker who helped get the right cabinets for a rental. Overall, very happy. Will certainly use them for my next project.

I had a major roof leak in the middle of a rainstorm and couldn’t get any roofing company to respond to my crisis, so I contacted Altec Construction and their 24/7 emergency response team was on the ball! They came out and tarped my roof, put fans in my attic and recommended a reputable roofer to fix the issues with my roof. Above all, they gave me peace of mind! When the roof repairs were completed, they removed and replaced the moldy sheetrock in my garage with expertise and care, replaced it and brought the drywall back to its original state. In fact, it looks better than it originally did! All the employees who came out during this project were professional and friendly. I highly recommend Altec Construction for any emergency or restoration project.

I found Altec due to an insurance claim and that led to a full downstairs remodel for my mom. The team did a great job with my small insurance job, but they absolutely blew it out of the park with the remodel. They are genuinely wonderful human beings and their work is high quality. I could not be happier and am looking forward to more projects in the future. I especially appreciated the way my mom's remodel was handled. She has early stage dementia, so I project managed and she weighed in on design and financial decisions. Every single member of the Altec team understood my challenges and treated her with the utmost respect. They also helped make suggestions about best practices for aging-in-place and adapted plans quickly when we ran into *many* weird issues in her 1980s house. Shawn was especially good at daily communication to let me know what was happening, what he needed from me, and what problems needed to be solved. She is beaming with joy every day in her "new" home. As her children, we feel so much better knowing she's happy, safe, and able to stay independent even longer. Altec helped us make that happen and I will forever be thankful to the whole team.

Altec did all the flooring, interior painting, and remodel of my master bathroom when I moved in. Work was done professionally and on time. Crews cleaned up daily which was major plus for my wife. Recently, we had water damage from a broken supply line (NO fault of Altec). The mitigation team was quick and responded to clean up the mess from the water damage. They were very thorough. Construction crews restored everything in a timely manner. I highly recommend Shawn and Altec.

We had a great experience with Altec. They are very patient and professional with their customers. They worked on two bathrooms and laundry room plus the hallway by the bathroom due to water damages. The project took them over a month to do and the end result was amazing! As with any project we had issues come up but they were resolved. Shawn and Jeff are great! We would definitely recommend them due to their quality of work and the workers that come in are very professional. We are thankful for them.

It has been a great experience with Altec. I had Jeff come in and gave me an estimate when I had sewer back up problem. He came and answered all my questions. He was very attentive to my concerns and I am glad I chose them to help me with the reconstruction. Shawn had been so great in making sure everything is done well. He always listened to me and did his best to accommodate all my requests. They went above and beyond. I won't hesitate hiring them again and I highly recommend them.

AlTEC Construction just finished a bathroom remodel project at our place. We are extremely happy with the finished work. There is nothing that I would re-do or change. Everyone starting from the demo folks to the fixture folks are extremely professional, polite and non-intrusive. The work was done within budget and on a timely fashion. I would like to say A few things about my experience With Altec Construction. My wife and I had a slow leak In our kitchen that ruined our floor and cabinets and had mold in the walls. The Insurance suggested Altec Construction To do the repairs. I talked to Shawn who is the Forman that came out to estimate the damages. In the past I have had some dealings with other contractors so my guard was up. For me trust is earned not just given so he had that hurdle to overcome. Speaking to him he was up front about it was not going to be a quick fix.If we wanted to make changes we can negotiate what the Insurance pays to what it will cost. My wife and I had an idea of what we would like to do with our kitchen since we had to tare it up anyway. I will not lie it took a lot longer than we anticipated. When you have multiple people you have to plan to come together not everyone has the same schedule. Living out of boxes is tuff especially with a disabled daughter and wife.Shawn was nice enough to install a temporary sink so my wife didn't have to handle the heat of the garage. As this project was progressing we were giving Shawn instructions on what we wanted but then tweaking it in the middle of the project. I am not the easiest person to get along with (just ask my wife) but Shawn took it like a trooper. All said and done my wife and I are very happy with the job they have done. Our kitchen is very beautiful and now my wife has the kitchen that she has always wanted. We were so empressed that we hired them to install a new floor in our living room and replace a French door.I checked around on price and he always came in a lot cheaper than other contractors. He does a great job and he is very honest. He told me at the very beginning he would not take advantage of us and he has lived up to that.His workers are also trustful and good people and had no problems with them.
