Thank you to Pablo, for work I needed done just recently involving window security gates, including an upgrade, and a porch rail. He texts back promptly and was able to fit me into his schedule quickly. The two workers, Elias and Johnathan, are the best workers. They were competent, kind and courteous. The work was done in a very timely manner at a reasonable price. Pablo and his team are very easy to work with and he was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done.

I needed a new front gate to my courtyard and my two side gates replaced. Pablo came out to meet me and see what it was that i needed/wanted. He was great, knowledgeable and efficient. Pablo was always super responsive and kept me in the loop for the entire project. I ordered one custom designed iron gate and two wooden side gates. The colors all matched perfectly and I absolutely love my new front gate. The installers did a great job and I am so happy with their work. I would absolutely use them again! Thanks guys!

We got a couple estimates, but only SD Ironworks actually took the time to look at our site for a custom 110 foot long wrought iron fence. Pablo was extremely responsive throughout the process and was the low bidder, we could not be happier with the timely construction and the end project. It turned our front yard into the neighborhood dog park and many neighbors have complimented us on the work. Pablo's crew was excellent and responded to all questions and made custom adjustments to perfect the installation. Our yard has a slope but the fence was custom designed to accommodate the varying slopes. We highly recommend Pablo for this type of fencing!

Pablo was exceptional in repairing my front cast iron gate. My front gate had some issues with the crown spikes breaking and SD Ironworks was who I called first. Pablo was there to schedule my appointment via texts. He was responsive, on-time, friendly, professional and did a great job at restoring my gate to its original state. I am a return customer. Had our front gate or fence done by San Diego Ironworks 2 years ago so this review is way overdue. Never had issues with the quality of the gate or fence since it was installed. We decided to get our backyard step railing done and brackets added to our fence by this same business and we are still satisfied with their customer service and the quality of work and materials they have given us. This business offers competitive prices, there is no big or small project for them, they treat their clients equally, I highly recommend them and will be using them again for future ironwork needs. AMAZING job, great craftmanship, phenomenal customer service by Pablo and his crew (also special thanks to Elias for great messaging as I am a texter and was all over but they gave me updates via text) - I will never use any other company and so lucky to find such high quality work for a great price! Pablo & SD ironworks delivered - on time (and actually ahead of schedule) and again one of the best people in general to know. These guys work hard and have good work ethic. Due to all the recent thefts and homeless people roaming in areas etc., we needed to secure several of our rental units, specifically duplexes, and mission accomplished. I will also post more pictures but search no more folks and especially now - San Diego Ironworks is the best and I am very picky.

I was browsing decorative iron gates and found San Diego Iron Works. I sent them a txt with the picture I found and asked for a quote. Pablo came out to the house the next day and after looking at options we found a design that was perfect. When they installed the decorative gate the design was just as we expected, but the paint work was not. When I was able to get hold of Pablo they came out and picked up the gate. After 2 attempts they found the perfect color and the gate was returned powder coated and perfect. It is rich looking and matches our front door exactly. Exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you Pablo for sticking with us until it was perfect.

It was hard getting in touch with businesses who were willing to come out and schedule an in-home estimate. A lot of other businesses wouldn't even bother replying. Some businesses were scheduling an estimate months and months out because they were so busy. When I found San Diego Ironworks and submitted a request for a free estimate, Pablo responded right away and kept in touch every step of the way. I had already been impressed by their work shown on their website, so when I told him exactly what I wanted, Pablo along with his men delivered. I am very pleased with the results. I am definitely going with San Diego Ironworks for our next decorative ironwork project. Thank you Pablo and your team for a wonderful and easy process getting the iron fence. I needed 2 security gates installed side by side. I was reluctant to have the job quoted because I thought it was going to be too expensive. I found Pablo of SD Iron Works and he contacted me the same day. Got measurements on the same day and got a very reasonable quote on the same day too. I paid a down payment and about a week later his crew was on site putting on the gates. All the while, Pablo was very responsive, efficient and most importantly they did what they promised. Pablo and his team are high quality pros. Would recommend their service 10/10

I recently moved to a home in Bonita. We loved the large backyard because we have three dogs. Unfortunately the back line of the fence was really just a short cement wall. It worked for the previous owner, but it would not with our large dogs. I wanted to keep my view, so a normal fence was out of the question. I called around to get quotes on wrought iron fences. Some companies were booked out for over a month, which was also out of the question since we needed to move in within a couple weeks. When we got ahold Pablo at San Diego Ironworks, he said he could do the fence the day after we were moving in (Saturday), which was perfect for us! A small hiccup later and the fence was full installed and ready by that Monday. For comparison, other companies wanted to charge significantly more for the same deadline with honestly a weaker product. I say that because part of my wall is tiered and one (more expensive) company wanted to tier the top of the fence, which would have looked less than appealing. In the end, Pablo's team installed a high-quality fence on time, with the top line being straight across (rather than tiered), and even installed a gate for a nominal price (other's quoted me at $1000 extra for that option). Pablo and San Diego Ironworks really did exceed our expectations for this job in several ways: time, price, and quality. I would use them again or recommend them to anyone if I needed to! Although Pablo was EXTREMELY responsive to any phone call or text we sent to him, I would just caution to be patient with him, as he owner, helps with installs / quality control, does the consulting, and also seems to do the scheduling. I would not be surprised if he gets pretty busy from time to time. Thanks again, Pablo!

We solicited bids from several metal fabrication companies to get our exterior handrails completed. Pablo responded to our request same-day and came to the house to see what we needed almost as fast. Our job required the fabrication of a unique design to fit our landscape. We can be very particular when choosing stuff to make our house beautiful. Pablo did not hesitate to take on the task. My wrought iron pedestrian entry gate had broke loose from its support posts sunk in concrete and was sagging so bad it would hardly open and close. I contacted San Diego Ironworks on their web page and immediately received an estimate for the cost of either a repair of my gate or a new gate. I set up an appointment for someone to look at my problem at my home. Pablo arrived slightly early for the appointment and immediately saw my problem. He suggested a repair vice replacement (which was much cheaper than a new gate) and set a time for the work. Pablo and a friend arrived on time for the repair and completed the work in less than an hour. I highly recommend sdironworks for any wrought iron repair work (gate or fences) and specificly recommend Pablo for the work. I assume they would do equally well with any new installations. Needed an estimate and got a personal visit the next day. Most companies just wanted dimensions and to pick a picture out for a quote. Was very thorough in making sure he understood what we wanted. Had a great turnaround time. The iron gate was perfect. I was very happy with the quality of work. Also the price was much more affordable than other companies that didn't want to come out or were hard to get a hold of. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing iron work done. Just had two more gates installed two months later . Was so happy with the first gate, we replaced our old wooden gates. Does great work and gets the job done in a timely manner.
