Unfortunately, the Staff here are incredibly rude every encounter I had with them. I couldn't recommend anyone to stay at this place.

We stayed for 7 nights with our two big doggos. Their pet friendly fenced sites are fantastic. Close to all amenities. Great coffee machine in a fully stocked camp kitchen. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

This is a great park. Unencumbered by jumping castles and high prices, the owners are very helpful and attentive to needs and details. Clean, a nice walk to town through the gardens. It is on a train line but that didn't worry us. Being winter, the communal firepit was a real bonus! Loved our stay there.

The fact you can't have your own camp fires in winter means it's a very cold stay with dogs as they aren't allowed in camp kitchen. (A gas heater on verandah might be a solution). The owners are very accommodating the park and amenities are very clean and well maintained. We stayed at one of the caravan pet friendly sections however the noise from heavy duty trucks and freight trains disturbed our sleep. It would be wonderful if the local council could assist this local holiday park to subdue the noise. Apart from this, it’s a lovely caravan park to stay at.

What a wonderful caravan park. You can see its well loved from all of the appliances in the camp kitchen to the bath mats in the showers. All amenities are extremely clean and tidy. Owners are super friendly and obliging.

Great park. Nice and close to town with good shower block and excellent camp kitchen. Even has a $2 coffee machine! Lots of BBQ shelters, games for kids of all ages and an evening fire to enjoy meeting other travellers.

Simply the best caravan park I've stayed at. Everything is that extra step, that extra touch & the owner & staff are just so friendly...its superb. Stayed for work in a cabin. Very quiet caravan park save for the occasional train going past. Staff were very friendly. The cabin was perfect with good cooking facilities. Better than a motel room for the same price, if not cheaper. The room had beds for 2 adults and 4 kids, only 1 bathroom though. Only about 1km walk to main street, supermarket closer than that. I would stay here again.

Kaylene was so welcoming and helped us with local knowledge of things to do. Escorted us to our site. Dog friendly fenced site was great for our travelling border collie. Everything very clean and tidy, very well looked after. Road noise and trains were a bit loud during the night

Staff very friendly & helpfull (Barb) the c-park very wellkept, good ammenities, pet friendly. The only down point was the closeness of the train line and the highway withh all the potholes which rattled the multitude of passing trucks. This is one of the best parks we have experienced, and we travel 7 months per year. A first is that they have special sites fenced off for folks with dogs - just brilliant. A must stop for anyone passing through.

Great owners and staff. Arlo the Australian Terrier loved his yard and made some new friends.

We had a dog friendly site where your site is completely fenced in, a great idea. There is also a dog wash, bath mats in the showers, the camp kitchen has free tea, coffee and biscuits, the daily newspaper for you to read and a coffee machine and a communal fire pit. This caravan park is awesome. We used their new pet friendly fenced sites. Sliding gates, great fencing which allowed us and our friends who were travelling with us to let our dogs out of our vans and they couldn't get out. Well done Matt and Kaylene, the owners who live on site, we will definitely be returning again.

Our unit was spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The snacks and drinks at reception were a great idea, and the range of toiletries and personal care items were excellent, especially for a caravan park. We were there for the Labour Day long weekend, and the park was full, but we didn't hear any noise from other guests. I would highly recommend Acacia.

What an awesome caravan park. The staff are so friendly and Matt and Kaylene are so welcoming you feel like you have come home. I was lucky enough to have a fenced pet site and honestly it was so good. Not sure if my dogs or myself were the happiest. I would definitely recommend a stay here when you are in Ararat.

The staff are amazingly friendly....it's very rare and lovely to read a friendly hello note in the toilets rather than a list of do-nots! Too much traffic noise. Should have drive through areas so visitors don't have to unhitch their caravans for one night stay. Shower cubicles too small and have no seating in drying area. Censor lights very good around the park.

My “go to” stay in Ararat. The welcome is always warm, the rooms are always spotlessly clean and well equipped with quality linen and crockery. Give Acacia a try, you won’t be sorry.

Thoroughly enjoyed our little stopover. Cabins were clean and tidy and beds were comfortable. Front cabins are noisy because of main road but nothing that a little white noise didn’t cover. I would recommend!!

Loved our stay at Acacia Caravan/Cabin. They were sooooo pretty tiny cabin, loved the smell when we arrived at the cabin. Best hot shower ever we had, cute kitchen and living room. The beds is so comfortable. So tidy and clean. My kids absolutely loved playing at the park. We definitely will come back again. Highly recommended!!! 😊😊 from Sydney.

Great little park, super friendly people, really pet friendly which is awesome in my opinion....great little touches like fresh bath mats for each shower, a dog park specifically to let your pet run around. Firewood supplied for fire pit...these people have thought of everything. Nice!!!

Acacia Caravan Park is a lovely clean park to stay in. We always stay in a family cabin and it is always clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and happy to help and answer any questions. The park ammenities are excellent and the grounds eat and tidy. I highly recommend this park.

Fantastic park. From the moment we were checked in by a very informative, nice Lady, our experience couldn’t get any better. They provide biscuits/tea/ coffee in the well appointed Camp Kitchen. One of the best caravan parks we have ever stayed in. A fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need and Kaylene and Matt even supplied tea, coffee and biscuits. Bathroom was very clean with bath mats at our disposal. Fire bucket and fire wood at ready for those cold nights.

Amazing place. Cosy spacious cabin that looks only deceptively small from the outside, it has many beds and a relatively huge toilet. Staff at the office is amazing (couldn’t rmb her name but it was 14 may night time), we gave her an extra 100 by accident and she came by twice to return it to us.

Excellent place to stay. The owners are great to deal with. Nice and quiet park, once you get used to the freight trains. Toilets are cleaned every day. Good camp kitchen facilities and pool. Close to town. Lots of attractions nearby.

A wonderful small park. Very pet friendly. Attention to detail is amazing; spare ironed & folded teacloths in the camp kitchen, folded floor mats in the shower blocks, etc, etc, etc…

This was a lovely park to stay at. All staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We had the fenced off site which was great as it gave our dog the freedom to move.

Great caravan park, lots of powered and unpowered sites, dog friendly,pool dog wash and camp kitchen. Very friendly and helpful staff Matt and Kaylene are wonderful. Close to town.

Very large (wide and long) grassy and shady sites. Pool and playground. Enclosed yards for pets. Walking distance to town and local park. The managers are very helpful, helping people to back onto sites and suggesting places to visit.

Really enjoyed Acacia CP, Ararat. So clean. Books, toys, pool and bath were a hit with grandchild. Well resourced campers kitchen. Did wish the flickering Christmas lights turned off at night as the skylight flickers were disturbing

Our first stop in our new van. The people at Acacia were very welcoming and friendly. Helpful with information about Ararat. The amenities block was very clean with good, hot showers. I would recommend this park for a stopover or a week with kids as they have good facilities for kids.

Amazing caravan park. Very clean neat and tidy. They have enclosed pet friendly sites where your fur baby can roam free on your site. Great initiative and certainly won us over. Happy human & dog campers. Highly recommended

Very positive experience. Stayed in one of the 2br cabin units. Very clean, good linen and towels. Generally well appointed and comfortable. Would happily stay there again.

Fantastic management and staff. Very clean and tidy. Nothing was an imposition very friendly always greeted with a wave and hello. Pet friendly with a dog wash too. Highly recommended.

About our 3rd visit to this Park and always pleasantly pleased. Thanks again Matt and Keylene for your hospitality to your beautifully presented Park. I only have one suggestion again and that is to have handrails at the steps to enter the pool. Otherwise you do not fail us, ever.

Updated after our stay: It has well exceeded all our expectations! A very beautiful and well maintained holiday park. Our 2 bedroom cabin is spotless and beautifully layout. It has all the amenities that one would require. My kids particularly enjoyed the trampoline and outdoor heated swimming pool. The location of the park is so convenient. All the surrounding tourist spots are within walking distance. We had a lovely stay at the park and will look forward to our next visit when we travel to the Grampians. Our cabins were outstanding!, sitting alongside the street of entry, we've only now experienced accommodation somewhere better than expected. Visited over the weekend and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The park itself was very clean and family friendly. Great BBQ area and fire pit space. We stayed in a budget cabin and it was the perfect size for our family of 5. Would definitely go back.

Kayleen and Matt were extremely helpful to us when we were having caravan problems. Their park is very well maintained, the amenities spotless. We would definately stay there again, need to go back to Aarrat and have a better look around.

The best service and plenty of extra with good value accommodation that feel like 5 star hotel because of the special perks. The towel mat for shower is highly appreciate and good value drinks n hot drink vending machine are some of fav. Highly recommended for service

This is a small park that punches way about itself. You have got friendly staff. You are taken to your sites also a well equipped camp kitchen. Very clean amenities plus bath mats supplied for everyone to use.

A great caravan park with all types of accommodation available. Amenities spotless and warm. First time I have seen heaters working on automatic timing! Camp kitchen includes a coffee machine, snack vending machine, games, books and a variety of cooking options. Everything SO clean. Very friendly and helpful couple running the park. This is our second stay here.

Extremely friendly and well informed Managers. Very tidy grounds, pet washing facilities, two electric car charging stations, the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen and the cleanest, easiest to use Dump Station imaginable. Easy walk through the Botanical Gardens to a great little Cafe or stroll another block on into town.

A nice tranquil park to the edge of town, with large allotments and accommodateing hosts.
