This is a lovely little park. Walking distance to a number of attractions. Caravan sites were good, great camp kitchen and communal fire pit is lit every day. Amenities are older but spotless with extra little touches such as bathmats. The only draw back was the trains, but after a night or 2 we didn't notice them.

We just stayed for 5 nights for the price of 4 nights with our dog in one their pet friendly fenced sites which are fantastic. The spotless amenities have bath mats, complimentary shampoo, heaters for those chilly mornings, the staff were so friendly & helpful. We’d highly recommend this caravan park to anyone and will definitely return in the future for another stay.

The camp ground is close to the town to walk to the main street and out for dinner. The sites are grassed, shady and flat, ideal for our swags. The camp kitchen is clean, A good size and well stocked with pizza oven, BBQ TV, games and the usual kitchen items. Bathrooms were clean and were supplied with bathmats. A nice bonus.

As a one night stay on our way to Melbourne, very handy. Host and Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. Attention to detail. We arrived late and the heater was on for comfort etc. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore a highly rich history area

Really pleased with stay, Matt was prompt and assisted with finding cabin. Cabin had everything needed, clean and well laid out. Laundry facilities have both coin and swipe. Short walk to Woolworths and town. Picked as it a short jaunt to the Grampians from there. Recommend.

Kaylene and Matt are the most carefree humble owners. Nothing is too much. They provide bathmats in showers. Shampoo/conditioner, coffee machine, sites are huge and they help guide you in. We have stayed quite a few times and will continue to stay there. All amenities are spotless.

We stayed for 7 nights with our two big doggos. Their pet friendly fenced sites are fantastic. Close to all amenities. Great coffee machine in a fully stocked camp kitchen. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

This is a great park. Unencumbered by jumping castles and high prices, the owners are very helpful and attentive to needs and details. Clean, a nice walk to town through the gardens. It is on a train line but that didn't worry us. Being winter, the communal firepit was a real bonus! Loved our stay there.

The fenced dog yards are great for peace of mind and the park is a 10minute walk to a lovely lake where they do park run every Sat. Only real negatives were Location is right on train track so the train noise is full on.... but earplugs fixed that. The fact you can't have your own camp fires in winter means it's a very cold stay with dogs as they aren't allowed in camp kitchen. (A gas heater on verandah might be a solution). Overall a very well run park with lovely owners who care about their guests' experience. Less

The owners are very accommodating the park and amenities are very clean and well maintained. We stayed at one of the caravan pet friendly sections however the noise from heavy duty trucks and freight trains disturbed our sleep. It would be wonderful if the local council could assist this local holiday park to subdue the noise. Apart from this, it’s a lovely caravan park to stay at.

Wonderful hosts at the park who stayed past office closing hours so that we could be booked in late. Caravan park has a well set up camp kitchen with coffee & tea available for guests. Great park. Nice and close to town with good shower block and excellent camp kitchen. Even has a $2 coffee machine! Lots of BBQ shelters, games for kids of all ages and an evening fire to enjoy meeting other travellers.

Simply the best caravan park I've stayed at. Everything is that extra step, that extra touch & the owner & staff are just so friendly...its superb. Its a short walk into town shops & cafes or to the beautiful lake & park. Lots for the kids & adults to do & its animal friendly...if in the area, give it a visit & enjoy the stay

Stayed for work in a cabin. Very quiet caravan park save for the occasional train going past. Staff were very friendly. The cabin was perfect with good cooking facilities. Better than a motel room for the same price, if not cheaper. The room had beds for 2 adults and 4 kids, only 1 bathroom though. Only about 1km walk to main street, supermarket closer than that. I would stay here again.

Staff very friendly & helpfull (Barb) the c-park very wellkept, good ammenities, pet friendly. The only down point was the closeness of the train line and the highway withh all the potholes which rattled the multitude of passing trucks. This is one of the best parks we have experienced, and we travel 7 months per year. A first is that they have special sites fenced off for folks with dogs - just brilliant. A must stop for anyone passing through.

Great owners and staff. Arlo the Australian Terrier loved his yard and made some new friends.

We had a dog friendly site where your site is completely fenced in, a great idea. There is also a dog wash, bath mats in the showers, the camp kitchen has free tea, coffee and biscuits, the daily newspaper for you to read and a coffee machine and a communal fire pit. Matt was very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this park.

This caravan park is awesome. We used their new pet friendly fenced sites. Sliding gates, great fencing which allowed us and our friends who were travelling with us to let our dogs out of our vans and they couldn't get out. Well done Matt and Kaylene, the owners who live on site, we will definitely be returning again.

Our unit was spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The snacks and drinks at reception were a great idea, and the range of toiletries and personal care items were excellent, especially for a caravan park. We were there for the Labour Day long weekend, and the park was full, but we didn't hear any noise from other guests. I would highly recommend Acacia.

Too much traffic noise. Should have drive through areas so visitors don't have to unhitch their caravans for one night stay. Shower cubicles too small and have no seating in drying area. Censor lights very good around the park.

Nice clean park all round. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they also called me to see if I was travelling ok due to the bad weather! Highly recommend staying here!

Thoroughly enjoyed our little stopover. Cabins were clean and tidy and beds were comfortable. Front cabins are noisy because of main road but nothing that a little white noise didn’t cover. I would recommend!!

Wonderful accommodation. Deluxe cabins were great and really comfortably fit out 4 person family.

Great modern cabins. Close to town. Value ++ We arrived late. Staff called us, had cabin clear and heated for us 😊. Great service. Only down points: Beds are only DOUBLES ( short/small) as advertised. Next to train line . Bathroom smelt damp. However still a fantastic park. Good stop over to Melbourne. Dint miss the Gardens Lake Cafe 10min walk.

Loved our stay at Acacia Caravan/Cabin. They were sooooo pretty tiny cabin, loved the smell when we arrived at the cabin. Best hot shower ever we had, cute kitchen and living room. The beds is so comfortable. So tidy and clean. My kids absolutely loved playing at the park. We definitely will come back again. Highly recommended!!! 😊😊 from Sydney.

Great little park, super friendly people, really pet friendly which is awesome in my opinion....great little touches like fresh bath mats for each shower, a dog park specifically to let your pet run around. Firewood supplied for fire pit...these people have thought of everything. Nice!!!

Loved every minute of our stay here for 3 nights, you guys were so accommodating when we requested the extra night, friendly and all round really nice quality people, thank you and we look forward to our next stay here, also dog friendly which was perfect for us again thank you guys

Absolutely LOVED our stay! Reception staff were full of knowledge of things to see and do, even restaurants. Heater was on so our room was perfectly warm when we arrived. Even had a fire drum lit in a community area. Electric blankets provided and most definitely one of the best nights sleep on the comfiest bed and pillows. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again

Acacia Caravan Park is a lovely clean park to stay in. We always stay in a family cabin and it is always clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and happy to help and answer any questions. The park ammenities are excellent and the grounds eat and tidy. I highly recommend this park.

Fantastic park. From the moment we were checked in by a very informative, nice Lady, our experience couldn’t get any better. They provide biscuits/tea/ coffee in the well appointed Camp Kitchen. Bath mats provided for your shower. Fire pit lit in the afternoon for you to linger around ( wood provided for you to keep going ). We would certainly recommend a stay here. Well done 👏🏻👏🏻

Kaylene and Matt run the most well organised caravan park we have ever stayed in. Bath mats, heaters in the amenities block and a very equipped kitchen. And both are good people too. Stumpy and Maz.

In the evening, there was a small bonfire near the bbq area that got the kids excited. There were plenty of other facilities that we didn’t get to use, such as camp kitchen with vending machine, laundry, solar-heated pool, etc. The kids used the free wifi and it was fast. This accommodation is perfect for a quick stopover to/from the Grampians (about 40 mins away) and only 1km from all the restaurants and shops on Barkly St. Please support the local businesses. Welcomed by Matt, lovely man. HOT showers, bath & bath mats, camp kitchen is fabulous. Coffee machine, free biscuits. Couch so you can comfortably watch TV. Amenities are very clean. The park is well looked after. We chose because it's close to town. Big plus camp is licensed so if you want a bottle wine with dinner go no further.

We just bought our motorhome and stayed in Acacia caravan park and we plugged the water in and didn’t realise the tap in the bathroom was on and the plug was in and which then flooded our bathroom . We called the after hours phone line and they came straight out with a heap of towels and assisted with the clean up . Also lent us a power lead for the night . They helped us out - free of charge.
