We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Berkshire Valley Inn. We were fortunate to travel in the fall and enjoy the stunning foliage, and the motel is set in the middle of a beautiful area. The rooms were immaculate, and well equipped with small microwave and refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker. Breakfast in the charming, sunny lobby was lovely. Fresh coffee, home made quiche, apple cider donuts and pumpkin muffins to celebrate the season. The motel has the feeling of a small inn. The owner/hostess is warm and very accommodating. All in all we very much enjoyed our home base for exploring the area. Less

Had a wonderful sisters getaway weekend here, 3 sisters and 2 adjoining rooms worked out perfectly. Loved the breakfast, the sightseeing suggestions but my favorite was being able to practice yoga in one of the greenhouses. BVI provided the yoga mat…it was just perfect on a rainy afternoon. Less

If you are looking for a welcoming, with country charm, and dog friendly lodging close to downtown and mount greylock massachusetts don't look any further. The Berkshire Valley Inn has it all. Our room was clean the shower was relaxing with large shower head and good water pressure. Pam is putting alot of effort and care making sure her guest and the their fur babies are well taking care off. The property has a fenced in dog park behind the house. The greenhouse is such a wonderful idea. The Pool was already closed for the season. Breakfast included homemade quiche, blueberry cake, yogurt, apples, hard boiled eggs, donuts, coffee and orange juice. In the room their are other snacks and drinks available for a fee. We absolutely loved it there and definitely will be back. If you are traveling with your dog and need a place to eat we can recommend the 6 house pub. Delicious food, drinks, service and a also a dog menu for your fur baby. Less

This is the perfect place for a quick getaway or an extended vacation. Pam is one of the most gracious hosts I've encountered. We stayed in one of the large queen rooms and it was just perfect. Plenty of room for my husband, myself, and our granddaughter, and we had everything we needed in the kitchenette to make meals and snacks if we didn't feel like going out. They host a wonderful breakfast in the morning accompanied by fresh coffee and juices...so delicious. We were not able to use the pool due to some bad weather, but the pool area is lovely with plenty of chairs to relax. The BVI is on the top of our list for next summers vacation Less

This place was so cool - far exceeded our expectations - never been to the Berks - friends of ours spend a lot of time there and know the area well - we all went to a show at Tanglewood - we booked late so the places that were a little closer were booked up - we ended up here (it's only about 30 ish mins from Tanglewood - we love it - the rooms are super clean and so quaint and cool - mattress is great - big plus - there's a fire pit area - nice pool - etc - the people are so nice - continental breakfast - quiche - scones - muffins - fruit - and more - I'd go back in a heartbeat - Less
