Another wonderful experience at the BVI. This was our 7th time staying there, and it never disappoints. This time we stayed in the apartment, and it was delightful. We had a spacious sitting area, a full kitchen, and a very comfy bed. We just love the charm and decor of all of the rooms, and everything is always immaculate. The breakfast is delicious in a lovely space with freshly baked items each day. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. We really love this inn and can't recommend it enough to those looking to visit the area. A true gem in the Berkshires!

My husband and I stayed at the BVI for two nights while attending our daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. Communication was great with the owner before check-in explaining the use of the digital code and other details. We were pleased with the newly renovated motel room, the very comfortable bed and high end linens. The room was stocked with things you might need during your stay and plenty of snacks if you wanted. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with items you can choose to be heated by the host, coffee and teas, and a yogurt bar. The common area was nicely decorated as well, and very inviting, including a little gift shop. We will definitely return should we pass through this gorgeous area of the Berkshires again in the future.

Stayed here LDW, what a great find especially if you have a dog. Cozy well appointed rooms, very nice pool area, great dog walk area, and centrally located(for our activities) the host Pamela is very quick with communication, and the brekkie area has a nice selection of quick grab items. Will be back yearly for sure.

Berkshire Valley Inn ended up being such a great find. It has all the charm you want from a Berkshires getaway, but with a level of care and polish that’s hard to find.LocationThe setting is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, surrounded by the mountains, and still super close to Williamstown. It’s easy to get into town for restaurants, museums, and exploring, then come back somewhere that feels completely tucked away. At night, it’s incredibly quiet and the stars were amazing.StaffThe staff were genuinely one of the best parts of the stay. Everyone was warm, thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly easy to deal with. You can tell the owner/operator really cares about the property and the guest experience, and that attention shows up in all the little things. Check-in is completely seamless - you get a detailed text with everything you need, so you can arrive and settle in on your own without having to coordinate with anyone. At the same time, if you need anything, she’s immediately available and happy to help. It feels effortless, personal, and very well cared for.PropertyThis was probably the biggest surprise. A lot of older inns in mountain areas can be charming but also feel dated or a little tired. This doesn’t. The renovation is beautifully done - fresh, high-end, comfortable, and modern without losing the character of the Berkshires. It feels like someone really thought through how to make the property better rather than just updating it cosmetically.Rooms + CleanlinessThe rooms were spotless and very well maintained. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for, which really matched the quality of the rest of the property. Nothing remotely felt worn down or overlooked.PoolThe pool is fantastic. Beautifully maintained, surrounded by the mountain setting, and genuinely somewhere you want to spend the afternoon. It’s not just an amenity checked off on a list - it adds a lot to the stay.ValueFor the quality of the property, location, service, and overall experience, I thought the value was excellent. You get the charm and peacefulness of a Berkshires inn, but with a much more elevated feel than I expected at this price point.OverallThis place is a real gem. You get the charm, peace, and natural beauty of the Berkshires, but with thoughtful service, spotless rooms, a beautifully updated property, a great pool, and easy access to Williamstown. The whole stay felt effortless and cared for.
