Me and my best friend of almost 20 years. Headed here for some delicious vegan eats. The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and we were greeted with such great energy. Our waiter, Christian was so sweet, had recommendations of things we MUST try given our palette, and kept those drinks coming and coming. This is definitely my new favorite spot. And you should bring any and everyone you love for the incredible vibez and delicious food and drinks!

We hosted a birthday party here a few weeks ago, and the Spicy Moon team was accommodating, attentive and welcoming. They have a huge bar space that worked so well for our group. It is usually a nightmare to make a reservation for 30 people in Manhattan, but it was so easy here and we were happy to share the bar space with everyone for no private room fee. Everyone loved the food, drinks, and vibes, and the host was great at helping to present a cake and serve it right on time. I would 100% host another social event here. I also loved the fried tofu entree and the Philly cheesesteak rolls were a big hit 😍

Veg lomein and warm chai latte were delicious. Generous amount of vegetables in lomein. The decor is different - lots of pinks - says 80’s -90’s. Plenty of tables. Loved the short water glasses. Dry pot vegetables was spicy and a nice crunch to veggies.

Surprisingly good and very seasoned don’t let it being vegan fool you. Delicious !! A bit on the pricier side though prob cuz it’s vegan but pretty good !

Spicy Moon is a place I truly enjoy and keep coming back to. As someone who really values ambiance, this restaurant gets it right. It’s one of those rare spots in the city where you can comfortably come alone and enjoy a quiet moment to yourself, but it’s also a place I can bring my mom or friends and still have a beautiful experience.The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I especially appreciate that the music is always kept at a nice, low level. You can actually have a conversation or even hear yourself think, which feels increasingly rare in NYC where so many places are overwhelmingly loud. That alone makes Spicy Moon stand out.I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and the consistency is what really impresses me. Whether it’s brunch or dinner, solo or with company, the experience is always the same in the best way. The food is amazing, the service is genuinely kind and considerate, and the staff always makes you feel welcome.It’s also an easy spot to get to, which just adds to why it’s become a go-to for me. Thoughtful atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Highly recommend.

As someone who works with an animal welfare nonprofit, finding the right venue for our events is incredibly important and hosting at Spicy Moon was truly one of the best decisions we’ve made.Our event was a HUGE success, and that’s in large part thanks to their amazing team. This new location is amazing, spacious and super funky decorated. I really love the booth. We love spicy moon restaurants and we have been to the east village restaurant many times . I came with my kids and they loved the sesame noodles. I guess the only problem is inflation. We have to order many dishes to have a full dinner and it gets pricey. The eggplant dish wasn’t the same . It is an amazing selection.
