Spicy Moon is hands down the best restaurant in Bowery! Every single dish I’ve ever tried is special, creative, and authentic. They even make their own beer and can give you a small tour of their brewery equipment 🥰The all-female team is knowledgeable, kind and incredibly hard working. I like them so much! As much as we’ve loved the food here, this will unfortunately be our last visit. They stopped accepting InKind a while back, and more recently, prices have increased significantly while the quality has become inconsistent. $32 for a medium plate of broccoli and Tso’s chicken with no side, or $11 for a small mushroom bao bun (three bites) feels unreasonable. While I understand inflation has impacted everyone, this restaurant used to be in line with others in its category whereas now it’s priced quite above without the consistent quality to justify it.If the recent price changes are tariff-related, I hope they consider revisiting them, or at the very least, bring back InKind which will reduce the impact of those increases.
