Joseph has been a member of the Blackbelt Leaders family for 4 years and both he and the rest of our family have always been made to feel welcome, supported and inspired. The leadership team are fantastic - always listening, nurturing, educating and leading. My son has reached junior blackbelt status and loves the craft, skill discipline, self confidence and resilience it builds in him. We would highly recommend Blackbelt leaders to anyone of any age wanting to become part of a nurtured team looking to improve fitness, skills, discipline, confidence and self esteem as well as hone awesome martial arts techniques.

I've been training at Black Belt Leaders for just shy of a year and I've always felt welcome, even on the nervous first few sessions. It's not just about learning a new practical skill either, the lessons learnt extend beyond the dojo. Massive shout out to Master Lowndes, Mr. Ingham and Miss A for creating such a great place to train and to all the other students for always being open to help eachother and improve together 💪🏼

My 3 children have been going to Blackbelt Leaders for near 10yrs.Not only have they learnt all types of Kick boxing and self defence, Arnis etc but also discipline and respect for others. The coaches are very professional, extremely understanding of the needs and ability of each of their students. (and parents) But the greatest thing about our club is we all become one big family. I'd highly recommend Blackbelt Leaders for children and Adults ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++++

Both my children have been attending BBL for over four years, going twice a week, with no protests! The organisation and inclusive atmosphere of the classes have enabled them to make progress and increase their confidence. All the teachers are incredible and I still enjoy going to watch the lessons when I can. I highly recommend Blackbelt Leaders to anyone, of any age, looking into doing martial arts.

I started out here, and it was an amazing root for my fighting journey.Cons:Slightly unhygienic environmentAlways passing gradingBuilding seems out of placeExpensive kitOnly padworkYou might be asking, why is always passing grading bad?Well, if you have ever trained in martial arts, it takes a while to progress. You pay around £40 for grading, and get the belt about 95% of the time. One thing that is probably the worst is that there is no genuine sparring. Only padwork. Sparring is extremely important in any dojo, since you can test yourself in real time rather than on a drill which may or may not be unrealistic.

This DoJo is a wonderful place to attend packed with positive energy. Its invigorating just sitting on the side-lines watching the training take place. The instructors are fantastic and it has been a pleasure to see my son's skills go from strength to strength. A reflection of a fantastic team and fantastic instructors.

Amazing session this evening. My son was so focused on the Do Jo . I noticed an improvement with his confidence and posture . We enjoyed ourselves and found it to be a really positive learning experience. Definitely one to be repeated.

I joined Blackbelt leaders just less than a year ago and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's changed my life. I had zero confidence, no self esteem, I was unhappy with my weight and how I held myself and I didn't expect to see such a dramatic difference in myself in such a short amount of time, but here I am writing this! The team are incredible. They're the most caring and encouraging group and they will never let you fall by the wayside nor do they in anyway make you feel foolish for getting things wrong. They make you want to do your best and when you do your best, they let you know about it. I've lost nearly 3 stone in under a year (this and other things of course, health diet etc) but BBL has been a key factor in that - I couldn't even hold a plank when I first started now I'm VERY nearly doing full sets of press ups :D I've not had this type of encouragement from any other group in my life, so having found a space where I feel completely at ease and 100% myself has been something I really cherish and am very grateful to the team. Its taken me some thought writing this, one because I didn't want it to be too cheesy (lol it definitely is) but two because BBL means a lot to me and has done a lot for me and I wanted to do it justice. 100% sign up, you really won't regret it.

Blackbelt leaders...amazing. My son has been attending for a few months now, he loves it 💙. The staff are friendly and helpful with everything to do with students and parents at the dojo. My 14 yo son attends this Dojo and he really got into the programme. The staff and Master are friendly knowledgeable with a good ethos. After me literally dragging him along on day 1. He now can't get enough as I see him progressing through the belts. Highly recomend this Dojo.Only drawback is i am now less likely to be able to drag him anywhere 🙃 as he has become stronger and faster I can't keep hold of himGreat for confidence, fitness, discipline and focus.

My 8 year old son started going to the dojo as we looked to build up his confidence. He really enjoyed it and we noticed a big improvement in his focus. We then decided to enroll his sister and 4 year old brother and all three of them reallly love the classes. Highly disciplined trainers which rubs of on the students. Recommended if you want to build your child’s confidence

I've been going to Blackbelt Leaders fo nearly 10yrs I can't imagine every leaving. The coaches go above and beyond to teach and help you in so many different ways. I don't only class them my coaches but my friends and family. Since coming to BBL My Coordination, Concentration and Self Confidence has improved tremendously Not Once did they ever judge me. My sister's have special needs one at the time she started was very agresive with ADHD they were so calm with her showed her how to self control her temper within a few months she became a different person so calm. They always said it didn't matter we all had special needs we can become a Blackbelt. I'm a Second Degree Blackbelt my Sister and Brother are Blackbelts and my other Sister is a Recommended Blackbelt so it just goes to show with the help of all the Coaches even people with disabilities can achieve becoming a Blackbelt. We all Highley Recommend Blackbelt Leaders

They have really helped me grow as a person since I have been coming here. I used to be very quiet and anxious in groups of people. They have helped my confidence grow and I have become a stronger person. They changed my life. They have helped me change my view on myself with encouragement and care. At Blackbelt Leaders it is not just about the classes, it is about friendship, family. I have made some awesome friends since starting and it is lovely when see others progressing on their journey. I am very grateful for all of the students and coaches for helping me feel that I can achieve whatever I want to, no matter how many times I feel like giving up, to stay strong, pick myself up and carry on.
