I just completed one of Julie's workshops, and I loved it! She makes learning pastels so fun and stress free! She explains everything very well, and her calming voice is nice to listen to as you learn. Highly recommended!!

Just finished a 'Take me to the Beach' workshop with Julie Swan (Walsh) and it was absolutely game changing. I learned so many new tips. I excited with new confidence for my next painting. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable pastel workshop. I was surprised how well my picture of the boats at Old Leigh turned out as I had never done anything like this before. I have taken one class and have another one booked for this month. Julie is warm and friendly and allowed us to use her large collection of art supply's (was like a kid in a sweet shop). She taught us many tricks and I learnt so much. She helped me bring my work to life with a little suggestion that allowed me to bring home a picture I can be really proud of.

I love the beach scene that Julie did for me. It always makes me smile when I look at it. Wonderful artist.
