This is the best CrossFit gym in Houston! They have super-friendly trainers who made it easy for me to get back into CrossFit after years of not doing it. Other patrons were super encouraging, and the equipment is great, and the gym is clean! The location in South Central Houston was easy for me to get to, just a few minutes off the beltway! I highly recommend!

I found Cosmic CrossFit through Google, and they are exactly who they say they are. From day one, I felt welcomed by a community filled with supportive, kind, and genuinely uplifting members. No matter your fitness level…beginner or experienced, they make you feel included and encouraged.The coaches push you to become a stronger, better athlete while still meeting you where you are. The environment is positive, motivating, and family-oriented, which is something I really value. Very inviting gym. My son and I love it. We are novices at working out, but ALL the coaches are patient and welcoming. They show us proper form in the exercises and modify per our needs. Not only are we doing healthy practices through a great place like Cosmic CrossFit , but I treasure the bonding with my almost teenager. The staff is kind but motivating, the members are welcoming. There is truly a sense of comradery amongst the staff and members. A win for one is a win for all.

Awesome facility and people. This is not a typical nasty building turned into a crossfit facility, this facility was built as a crossfit gym. No dodging cars in a parking lot or street while your running, no doing push ups on oil stained concrete. The workouts are intense and the coaches are very helpful and attentive. There is onsite child care, onsite massage therapy, onsite chiropractor, compression sleeves, and soon a cold plunge! There really is no other gym that can compare.

I love Cosmic! I really appreciate how much they prioritize proper form and doing each movement correctly. The coaches push you to keep going while still meeting you where you are. The workouts are always fun and varied, and they work with all levels from beginners to advanced athletes. Plus, they even have daycare, so no using my kids as an excuse not to show up!

This gym used to be an amazing place with a real sense of community and support, but that all changed with the new management and ownership. What was once a positive, inclusive environment has turned into one driven by cliques, gossip, and personal bias. It’s clear the new leadership struggles to separate friendships from business, and it shows in the way things are handled. One particular coach especially plays favoritism when it’s convenient for her, which creates a really uncomfortable and unfair environment. Really unfortunate to see such a great place lose the culture that made it stand out.Response to owner:The majority of your five-star reviews are from members under the previous ownership and management, so don’t take credit where credit isn’t due. I was a loyal member for years, and everything was great — until new management took over. There was never any gossip or cliques before then. That all started at the top, with the owner.And let’s be clear — I never brought anything up to anyone. It was your own employees and members bringing my name up in classes I didn’t even attend. If there’s “no gossip,” then why tell me (via a very unprofessional text) that “people” left my class? Honestly, the ones who mattered were always there, so whoever those “people” were clearly didn’t matter much.Instead of coming directly to the person you were hearing gossip about, you went to others first — and then you wonder why I wouldn’t talk to you — and there you were “gossiping”! If I was really such a “threat” to your community, why have members reached out saying they’re disappointed I left and that things haven’t felt the same?And just like you have “hundreds” of members who’ll leave you 5-star reviews, I have plenty of friends and members who’ll vouch for me and tell you exactly where things went wrong and that I am far from being a “threat”! Let’s be honest — members have left because of the same coach I was standing up for, the one whose hours were being cut, and the reason all this started — because of her gossiping and talking behind YOUR back!So don’t worry — I have zero intention of ever stepping foot in a place where the owner is two-faced, unprofessional, and more focused on saving face than saving the community that used to make it special.

My wife and I were looking for a change in our fitness journey and we are absolutely delighted to have landed at Cosmic.Great community which was incredibly welcoming. Owner and coaches are encouraging, while also kicking you in the butt when needed.Most importantly for me, they are excellent communicators, especially in the beginning. Promptly getting back to us and setting up an intro session. Other gyms acted like we either didn't exist or they were doing us a favor in getting back to us days/weeks after the fact.Cosmic is top shelf and we are glad we found them! 5-Stars across the board.

This gym has the most motivating people working there! The workouts can be designed to our preferences while giving the intended effect of the workout. I enjoy going to the classes and meeting everyone!!

Love everything about this gym! Everyone is soo friendly and helpful! I’m getting back into CrossFit after taking a couple years off and I am so happy I found this gym! They also have childcare so I know my child is having fun while I work out! It is amazing! Try Cosmic CrossFit! You won’t regret it!
