My husband booked me in for a boudoir shoot at Honey & Lace as a “surprise”I say “surprise” because, although I have never been an overly confident person, I have been suffering terribly with very low self esteem. Older, fatter, menopause, you know the drill. So I wasn’t at all happy about his “surprise” I actually burst into tears! But once I’d calmed down and thought about it, I thought “if I went, what would I even wear? So I had a look around and I bought some lovely things that I thought I’d feel good in. (On my husband……obviously 😉) so I mustered up some courage and went to the shoot. I was still nervous but also excited. I was booked in with Meghan and as soon as I met her I knew I’d be fine. She is so, down to earth and calm and friendly, I don’t know what it is but she just has this way of instantly making you feel relaxed and at ease. I had no problem whatsoever getting my clothes off and posing like the best of them! It was absolutely fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! It was so uplifting I can’t recommend it enough! And the photo’s…..oh my god!! STUNNING!!!! I never like myself in photos but these are just……..simply stunning!! I have never in my life felt beautiful until I saw these photos. I just want to say a huge thank you to Honey & Lace because I don’t think they realise the effect their work has, yes I thoroughly enjoyed the photo shoot, but more than that, they have lifted my spirits, and I will be eternally grateful……so a massive thank you to Meghan, Jade and Liddy. Wow, what can I say? Incredible experience from start to finish. Booking my shoot was simple and they were happy to answer any questions I had. I was SO nervous when I arrived, but within 2 minutes that trepidation was gone - the studio has such a lovely atmosphere, and the team were brilliant at bigging me up and putting me at ease. The shoot itself was so fun - I felt like an absolute goddess - so different to what I was fearing before coming!! It flew by and I think I'm gonna have to do it again cos it was such an uplifting experience. I love love LOVE all my photos, it was so hard to choose my faves as they were all brilliant. Whilst I can hardly believe that the confident person in the pics is me, I love how 'real' they are - it's really helped me accept and appreciate the parts of my body that I previously saw as 'imperfections'. So when I saw honey & lace had a compeition on, i thought "yeah i will do that!" No actually expecting to win anything. Well to my shock one day I get a text message saying I have come up as a runner up in the competition, free photoshoot and a free 10x8 wall print. OH THE HORROR. See i am a very anxious, plus sized lady with very little self esteem. The team with Honey and Lace where amazing. They put up with me being a little hard to get hold of (anxiety) and worked around my extremely full schedule. Think we even booked my photoshoot after the expirary date for the compeition. On the day of my photoshoot I had a panic attack but told myself to go! Do it. So I did. I am glad I did. My self and my partner went today to see the reveal of the photos and he was amazed. First thing I said said was "oh, thats me!" When I saw the tv, the presentation was beautiful! We ended up choosing 15 photos for the digital download and the photo for our free print. ABSOLUTELY LOVED my double photoshoot with afternoon tea for my 21st birthday!!! Me and Beth felt so confident after it and I can’t WAIT to use the photos I chose for my portfolio! I had a Boudoir Shoot at Honey & Lace. From start to finish Lyddy was amazing!! From the booking messages to the actual shoot, she made me feel so incredibly comfortable! I was so nervous to start with as have never done one before! But with a bit of her amazing guidance, I soon felt confident & amazing 😍 Lyddy is an amazing lady & even down to communication after the shoot, I was still kept in the loop about everything!! There was no pressure or pushiness to spend loads of money & purchase photos! But myself & my boyfriend couldn’t help it 😂 I will definitely be going for another shoot in the future & I highly recommend that if you’re thinking about it, bite the bullet & book with this awesome lady... you will not regret it 💖 Less

This is the second business branding photoshoot that I have done at Honey & Lace with Lydia. Lydia listened to my ideals and worked with me to get the look I wanted.
