Because of that post, I contacted the gym to find out about it, and that was one of the best decisions I made. I had noticed a decline in my flexibility and mobility so when I met with Calvin, he explained how resistance training would make a difference for me. Now, after just a few months, I am amazed at the noticeable difference it has made. I’ve been to other local gyms where I felt I was just a number, but not at The Med Gym. Here, I have a trainer who is invested in helping me meet with success. He makes sure I’m doing each exercise correctly and every four to five weeks, I am challenged with a new series of exercises. Whether you want to recapture the flexibility of a younger you or maintain and improve your flexibility, I suggest you contact this gym for a better, healthier you. Less

I started working with Calvin with one on one training and continued twice a week for 2 months and then switched to group sessions and have been doing twice a week for 2 months. I LOVE the Med Gym! When I started in August 2024, I was wheelchair bound and not able to walk. Trainer Haley is professional, encouraging, and always evaluating my progress. She has created workout routines that has me out of the wheelchair! Strengthening my muscles, through the use of weights and movement is the way to go. I encourage others to come in and get moving. I feel so much better.
David and his team at the Med Gym are exceptional. David has been helping me train for the past few years and his kindness and knowledge are next level. They really go above and beyond to cater to the individual. If you're looking for a place that will meet you where you are and take you to where you want to go with your health, the Med Gym is for you!

As a Type 2 diabetic and an older man in my 70's the MedGym entered my life several years ago after realizing that working out in my home gym was not adequate. Losing weight and keeping it off and lowering blood glucose were necessary goals but I needed guidance and encouragement to maintain an ongoing exercise and nutrition program. David Drinks and Calvin Nause have been my primary trainers over the years, and I have complete confidence in them. They listen and are responsive to my comments when something isn't working or is painful and accommodation is made. Yet, they push me forward when they understand my capability. I also needed to work on my balance and flexibility in addition to strength and cardio training. My goals are being achieved with a three times a week routine. They have made a significant difference in my enjoyment of life and my health as both weight and blood sugar numbers have dropped to healthier levels. I can't thank them enough for their assistance! The MedGym is a very friendly and welcoming gym for all fitness levels. Having help creating exercise plans and having someone to show me how to do the exercises have been very helpful!!
Thank you very much for having a gym I can attend safely. I have pulmonary fibrosis and cannot attend a public gym like I used to. Your staff is very supportive and helpful. l am also attending a nutrition class which I am enjoying.
I am grateful to the MedGym for assisting me with strength training, flexibility and balance. I came here after Physical Therapy with back concerns in order to assist with me an exercise program that would enable me to still golf. I am very happy with my work at the Med Gym. I get excellent support, and the people--both staff and other clients--are friendly and kind. I am pleased with the progress I am making in getting healthier and better able to care for myself as an old lady. I am very pleased with the support and guidance I get from Kade. My husband and I both love the Med Gym. Our semi-private sessions provide plenty of attention and direction to assist us in our fitness goals. Our trainer is sensitive to our needs on any given day and works with us where we are. In our 70's, we both can tell we are getting stronger.
Supportive, caring staff in a safe no- judgment space. The Med Gym has given me an opportunity to regain mobility and strength through their individualized specific training programs. Very indebted to David and his team for helping me improve my quality of life.

I joined the gym to counter the effects of aging. The atmosphere is welcoming for all ages and abilities. After 3 months of twice-weekly workouts, I am happy with the process and the results. As a recreational cyclist, an unexpected benefit is that the strength training has made me faster on my bike.
