When I called to book my move, I asked the person on the phone from Units if they had any recommendations, and they did and they gave me a few names of companies to call. One of those companies was Thompson Moving, where I spoke with Frank, the owner. And that recommendation from Units, was spot on, these guys did an incredible job of moving me out of my apartment. Packing an entire 2-Bedroom apartment into a “Units” container for shipment across the country. They were on time, communicative letting me know what was going on leading up to “The Big Day” and did a professional job of moving and packing all of my stuff securely into that container. During our conversation, I could empathize with Mr. Davis, as I understand the uncertainties that come with running a business, especially when it comes to receiving timely payments. I requested a detailed invoice from him, and upon reviewing it, I noticed some inconsistencies. As a fellow small business owner, I recognize that mistakes can happen, particularly when relying on others. I also understand the frustration that arises when people don't honor their commitments. After a terrible (and on going) experience with PODS, I contacted UNITS to assist with my moving needs. They could deliver the container the next day, picked it up and transferred a few days later and when I called to schedule the final pick up, they were available the next day. They made it so easy - I will definitely be referring friends and family in the future. Oh, and having used UNITS and another company side by side (PODS) I can tell you that the way this container is structured is superior to others. Great experience. Because of a last minute delay on a new home build and the sale of our existing home at the same time, we needed to find a temporary place for our belongings quickly. After trying PODS, who didn't have anything available, we called UNITS after we noticed one of their containers in the neighborhood. Talked to Ron who understood our situation and got everything arranged to get our UNIT within a few days. We are extremely pleased with their service, & operation. Pods didn’t have any containers available for months. This is an excellent alternative. Prices are competitive. This company honestly made the move stress free and it actually arrived sooner than we expected due to the holiday. We were expecting the unit to arrive on July 7th or 8th and they actually delivered on July 3rd. I thank you all that made my move possible, to the truck drivers I didn’t get to meet .
