I was in town for the month and came here for some training with my free time. Each instructor took the time to introduce themselves and help me improve knowing I wouldnt be there long term. Each different instructor was very knowledgeable in their classes and professional. I would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone interested at any skill level and will back next time im in town!

American Jiu-Jitsu is hands down one of the friendliest and most welcoming gyms I’ve visited on my travels across the country. From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family, no matter your experience level. The owner/ instructor (Stephen) brings incredible skill and a wealth of knowledge, having trained with some of the top grapplers and coaches in the jiu-jitsu world. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, there’s so much to learn and gain here. If you’re looking for the best gym to challenge yourself and feel supported every step of the way, this is it!

I trained here for about a month and a half while I was in the area for work. A great no gi gym! Steve is very knowledgeable, nice professional, and one of the best instructors I’ve ever had! He tailor’s the training to everyone at their pace and skill level. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in the area for work again. A welcoming gym to experienced enthusiasts and beginners. There’s no douchey meatheads in there trying to hurt anyone. It’s a truly great well rounded gym to train at.

This gym has a very welcoming and supportive environment, as well as great coaching for both jiu jitsu and kickboxing. All coaches are life long martial artists and experts in their field. I have trained here for about 6 months now, and I can truly say no one understands the leglock game like Stephen.I have learned a ton here and the training is top-level, with training partners of all skill and size ranges. If you're traveling, it's also a great place to pop in and train! I encourage anyone to come train with us and learn to defend yourself!

Can't say enough great things about this gym. The instructors are positive and incredibly knowledgeable. The other students are a fantastic group, excited to learn and enthusiastic to share what they've learned with their juniors. This is a solid space to become educated in kickboxing & jujitsu, to get a killer workout, and most importantly, to have a ton of fun.

American Jujitsu is without a doubt one of the best gyms in the area. I drive 2 hours round trip to train with Coach Stephen and it has been beyond worth the effort. Stephen brings to his students some of the highest quality instruction in the state. American Jujitsu is a safe place for beginners, as well as a place for some solid advanced training. All members are courteous, respectful, and helpful when it comes to training, drilling, rolling, and everything in between. Stop by and try our classes out for a week, you won't be disappointed.
