Martin Docks is the premier dock company on Lake Lanier! The purchase experience working with them is very white glove, spending hours of me designing the perfect dock. In addition, their customer service has been incredible throughout the years of ownership since the initial purchase,! The cove that I live in actually gets some really intense weather and my dock incurred damage that was covered under their lifetime weld warranty. Pretty sure other dock companies would not cover this, but Martin put their money where their mouth is and backed up their product. After a lot of research into the various materials and assembly methods used in boat dock construction, we contracted with Martin Docks in Gainesville, GA to build our new dock on Lake Lanier. The sales team, Scott Twiggs and Savannah Gabriel, were knowledgeable, friendly, and really helpful at every turn. They made sure to provide solid answers to our many questions. New docks are a major investment and their assistance helped make us confident that we had made the right choice. Delivery day finally arrived earlier this month and it was exciting to watch the rig move up the channel towards our home! The delivery team, Mike, Tim and Johnny, carefully worked it into place and were especially helpful in getting everything set up and ready for us to enjoy. They took obvious pride in their work and even power washed the decking to remove any dirt from the move. It’s not the largest dock on the lake, given Army Corp constraints, but with its full hip roof and clean lines, we think it’s definitely one of the best looking! And there’s no doubt in our minds that the extra heavy duty aluminum materials, fully welded construction, and especially the quality and careful attention to even the smallest details make it one of the finest on the lake! Another update - Aug 16th 2023 - This dock is still going strong! As and Update - 11/1/2017 My dock is still doing great and we love it. We are having them do another dock on my other property. I dont even bother calling anyone else. Just had my 32x32 double slip with sun deck dock delivered at my lake property by Martin Docks and I could not be happier with the results. Not a single weld or screw that looks out of place. Quality materials, trex decking, thick gauge aluminum, made to order, and they even engineered a section of the dock the way that i wanted so I could take some pieces in and out for either more deck space or more boat space. Worked with Scott Twiggs - he is very professional and eager to please. He came and met with the corps and spoke with them several times on my behalf and I felt like I could trust him to convey my desires to the corps in a way that could get things done. Martin Docks will still be coming to place a couple wood stairs/ramps after corps approval. This is my first lake property and my first experience with Martin docks. I could not be happier. Just had our dock installed last week. We are very happy with the dock. We love the quality and the layout. It is a double slip with one 28 foot slip and a 16 foot slip for our jet skis.
